    Mary Ellen was born Dec. 20, 1934, in Columbiana, Ohio. She graduated from Columbiana High School and attended Kent State University until she married Richard Warrick, a naval officer and nuclear engineer, on June 3, 1955 in Annapolis, Md.

    Man charged with murder, assault of Annapolis man

    A 19-year-old man was charged Monday in the shooting death of an Annapolis man this month, county police said. Calum Jeramiah Thomas, of Annapolis, has been charged with first-degree murder, assault, use of a firearm in a crime of violence, among other charges, police said.

    David R. Watson, caterer who ran lunch counters, dies

    David R. Watson, a caterer who had lunch counters at Harborplace and Lexington Market, died of complications from dementia Dec. 16 at Symphony Manor. The Timonium resident was 87. Born in Baltimore and raised in Mount Washington, he was the son of Raymond Watson, a machine firm owner, and Irene Slaysman.

    Mary Kathleen Dunne McLean, 92, of Bel Air, Md., died at 2:25 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, 2017, at home. Born Oct. 25, 1924, in Burlington, she was the daughter of John Joseph Dunne and Marie Marguerite Champagne Dunne.
