    MPD needs help locating a credit card thief

    On April 21, 2015, the unknown female in the attached picture used a duplicate credit card at three stores in the Bel Air Mall area to make unlawful purchases of over $1,200. Anyone with information as to the identity and/or whereabouts of the subject is asked to call Mobile Police at 208-7211, CrimeStoppers at 208-7000 or text Mobile Police Intel at CRIMES and include the keyword "CRIME411."

    Citizen walks three hours searching for missing boaters

    Before dawn broke Tuesday, April 28, search and rescue teams were scouring Mobile Bay looking for survivors. Divers are targeting nine areas, eight of which officials say boats in the Dauphin Island Regatta sank or were incapacitated.

    Boater recalls being pinned under Dauphin Island Bridge

    Zane Yoder spent the better part of the day running over his boat, seeing how badly it was damaged and thinking about the tragedy on Mobile Bay. "I didn't sleep last night just going over every possible outcome of what I could've done differently and really, I don't think there was any other outcome for what we had done.
