Man Admits To $568K Mortgage Fraud Scheme That Included Westchester Homeowners

A 59-year-old man has admitted to stealing $568,000 from as many as 32 homeowners who sought his help to pare down their mortgages. The scheme by Mark Savransky targeted residents in Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Queens, the Bronx and Brooklyn, Nassau County District Attorney Madeline Singas said.
