Their cynical strategy is too obvious - inflate our way out of this unsustainable debt - because unlike Paterson and NYS, they _can_ print money, courtesy of Little Timmah Geitner and Larry Summers and all their butt-buddies down at the Fed. So instead of the USA going broke, they can make _every one of us_ broke - by destroying the value of the US Dollar.

Which they are already doing - gold hits new high of $1,110+ per oz., while the US Dollar hit a 15-month low.

As I've been ranting about for months, with the WASTED $787 billion "stimulus" and the MASSIVE Obama budget deficits, the political path of least resistance will be to inflate our way out of the situation, combined with tax increases.

Stagflation is coming. Obama's incompetence and socialistic aims are to deflate our currency. Summers is known to be a "weak dollar" advocate (the opposite of what was the case through the 90s and into 2007).

The falling dollar is a symptom, and rising oil, gold and other commodity prices are the result. Counterintuitively, the stock market too, as a falling dollar will help exports, but hurt imports and raise prices of all foreign goods.

We are in deep stuff. Obama has taken a bad situation and made it much, much, much worse with his $1 trillion plus of politically motivated spending mislabelled (A LIE!) as economic stimulus.

News is now coming out all over the country in local papers about how the stimulus has created few (or no) jobs. Obama is incompetent, and he is a liar.

Next year, NYers will have to pay $25 for new license plates for their cars.

The commissioner of motor vehicles says it will make the roads safer.

Ironically, since Patterson now has nothing to lose and he will be out as governor soon, he is NOW calling for dramatic expense reductions, including hauling in NY's Medicaid program, the most expensive (by far, using Medicaid expenditures per recipient) in the Nation, and calling for cuts to K-12.

Look for the SEIU, local 1199, and the local teacher's unions to start screaming bloody murder, like they always do. They are looking to protect their enormous retirement benefits and their salaries, with the automatic wage increases.

The rest of the taxpayers in NY can go to hell as far as all the UMs are concerned.

According to the NY Times, NY is subject to between 15 and 20 BILLION.... that's right... BILLION dollars ANNUALLY due to Medicare/Medicaid fraud. If they could recoup as little as 15 or 20% of that, NY could plug it's deficit with money to spare.

And while we're at it, what is Obama waiting for? Nationally, Medicare/Medicaid fraud is estimated to be as much as 100 BILLION! He claims that by cleaning up this fraud, he'll be able to pay for his health care plan.

We DON'T NEED A HEALTH CARE PLAN TO CLEAN UP FRAUD! He should have gone after these cheats the day after he took office. To date, I've yet to see so much as a single perp-walk.
