NY Senate delays vote on same-sex marriage

Despite vociferous lobbying by gay-rights advocates, the Senate appears poised to delay any action on same-sex marriage today amid concerns the measure wouldn't pass and a vote would leave some members vulnerable in their re-election campaigns next year.
