What a stupid way to lose a good player.....put him on waivers in case there might be someone else released that you may want! This guy could ahve been our 3rd line center and a damn good one at that.

He does have to stay on the Pens' 23-man roster for the entire season or he can be reclaimed.

Good point tupper......The pens are now committed to keep him with the big team or lose him.. I think they will need him with the big team though because of their depth...
