Pavelski scores in return from injured list to lead Sharks past Penguins 5-0

Joe Pavelski had a goal and an assist in his first game back from the injured list and Evgeni Nabokov made 27 saves and the San Jose Sharks beat the Pittsburgh Penguins for the seventh straight time at home, 5-0 Saturday night.

In a Nov. 3 story about a game between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Anaheim Ducks, The Associated Press, based on information in the NHL record book, erroneously reported that the Penguins tied a league record with their seventh straight road victory to open the season.

Center Evgeni Malkin is the only Penguins player not skating. Coach Dan Bylsma said Malkin's recovery from a shoulder strain is "progressing in rehab, and the important part is the rest part of it," Bylsma said.
