Panthers to face former captain Jokinen in Nov. 8 showdown

Phoenix center Olli Jokinen won't have to wait long to face his former team. The Panthers, who traded their captain and leading scorer west in June, will play the Coyotes in Phoenix on Nov.

The Panthers start with back to back away and home games, then four days off. Wonderful kickoff to the season there.

I am looking forward to the new Panthers on the ice. Next season should be fun and exciting. I think DeBoer will get things going in the right direction. Nothing better than Panthers hockey in the BAC.

Try posting this nonsense in a REAL hockey market...

This team is FAR from the right direction. Come back in April, so we can chat about it then!

But, of course, you won't. Because you don't have the testicles!

Thumbs down on this crapfest.

Trust me on this one...

Jokinen has circled the Panthers game date on his calendar and can't wait to personally pound this pathetic excuse for a professional hockey team.

After he closes his personal hattrick, I'm sure he'll be looking for Martin's big ears in the Visitor's Box.

I think we can all count on Jokinen to do his turnover act followed by his dissapearing act. Panther fans should know he cant produce against our new D.

South Fla is a great hockey market and the Panthers are a great hockey club. All professional teams go through good and bad times. Some Panthers fans, many of them of the "fair weather" variety, were spoiled by the rapid early success of the Panthers. Real fans realize that you support your team win or lose and real fans don't whine about not making the playoffs. Those true fans realize that the Panthers will keep building and fighting and will eventually get back into the playoffs. Then, of course, the fair weather fans will return. But we true fans will have been there all along.
I've got my season tix and I'll be in the BankAtlantic Center cheering on the Panthers next season.

I love the Panthers. Cant believe that some people just waste there time on here spreading their bad vibes, over and over. We get it. You dont like the team. Once a thread is enough.

South Florida - a great hockey market! Now. I've read it all!

Stop ten random people out on the street and ask them to name ONE Florida Panther and I'd be surprised if one of them could. In fact, most people don't even know we have a hockey team.

Why is the building half-empty on most nights?

Why, when the building is full, we Panther fans are outnumbered by the Ranger, Canadien, Flyers fans?

Face it, Louie the Loser. This team is pathetic. And, those like you who fail to see that a professional team that hasn't won a single playoff game in over a decade is pathetic, makes it even more pathetic.

But, it's OK. After another losing season, you'll finally get the big picture.

Seems like all the ticket reps are so NOT busy selling season tickets, they have plenty of spare time to post their insane pro-Martin dribble here. Hilarious!
