Florida Panthers sign LW Cory Stillman
The Panthers signed left wing Cory Stillman to a three-year contract Tuesday, striking on the first day of free agency to bolster their scoring and veteran leadership.
The deal is worth $10.6 million. Stillman made $1.7 million last season.
'I think he'll be able to really help our top two lines, bring some production we had lost,' Panthers General Manager Jacques Martin said. 'But also he'll fit in. I think he's a good character. ... He was very much a player we targeted. We felt he brought dimensions we were looking for.'
