Fleury's release ends Flames comeback

Theoren Fleury's fairy tale comeback with the Calgary Flames is over. The team confirmed Friday that the 41-year-old has been released from his tryout.

The guy had a good pre season, he will get a job somewhere whether it be in the NHL or not. Good story though.

Nice try theo.......but age is totally against you in a young mans game.. Same with allision....looks not bad,but you cant send an up and coming young guy to the minors for a one year player..sorry guys but away you must go !
