Steve McNair Found Shot to Death

Terrible news today in that former NFL QB Steve McNair was found shot dead, suffering a fatal gunshot wound to the head in downtown Nashville, according to a report by NewsChannel5.com . The report cited police as saying that the body of a female was found and that it appeared to be a double homicide.

Team employees told to take week off

At least a half-dozen other NFL teams have also shut down their front offices. It wasn't known how many of them have put their staffs on furlough, but at least one team, the New York Jets, put 60 employees on furlough for two weeks.
