I'm glad that Jason wanted to come back.Bad enough that he even took a pay cut. That does not surprise me.11-5 without him and things looking good!AFC East champs! All the players that came aboard fit.The Tri-Fecta are doing a fine job.Good planning put us here.Noone really knows how these pieces fit yet i am very sure that this staff will get the most out of each player. So this should be a very interesting season. The fact is we have gotten bigger, faster, stronger.I think that we all have some surpises coming.Looking forward to it!!HELL YEAH GO FINS!!!!!!

I expect about 7-8 sacks if healthy. More important he will make other D-Line players better. Look how bad Holiday sucked with out JT next to him

Just for fun I would think about trying Jason out at the middle linebacker. When you see what he can do there I would have some REAL fun and see how you can work him into the WILDCAT or redzone WILDCAT.

Just throwing stuff out there.

No fan fare and hard work is the way it should be. For too long Jason Taylor got the prima donna treatment and it resulted in him being out of shape with rest of the team; unable to finish seasons the way they started.

Welcome to Championship caliber football practice JT.

No one knows if JT's still got it or not, not even the Trifecta. But it's worth a shot to find out, at 1.5 mil.

We will all know soon enough when the games begin in less than 4 months.

Jason Taylor's return is HUGE for the Dolphins. He is very popular with his team mates who intensely 6457lobbied Bill Parcells all spring for his return.Miami has the best team chemistry in the NFL,by far.Morale is through the roof,no team supports and believes in their coaching staff more than the Mighty Fins.JT's team-first attitude in taking a $7 million pay-cut is a breath of fresh air in a league infested with greedy,me-first malcontents. Will Taylor perform at his 2006 NFL defensive player of the year level ?,highly unlikely. Will his leadership and self-sacrifice inspire his team mates to play far above and beyond the call of duty ?,highly probable.

There are many upsodes to the Phins bringing Taylor back. Is he past his prime? Time will tell. But, he brings a veteran leadership. He obviously knows the techniques and can teach them to the youger players. His presence alone will take some of the heat off of Porter and the other players. Now, if you are an opposing offensive coordinator, who do you double team? Porter or Taylor? Either one of them could hurt you. His experience and knowledge in his position is inmeasurable. Just my opinion. Even if he doesn't make 10-12 sacks, his presence alone can and will most likely make a difference. Hey, at the price he is costing, it is well worth it. Not to mention the good PR that is created by him being here, the revenue from sales of Taylor's jersey's alone will make it worth it.
