Did you know George Washington was originally from Texas? Sure was.

And it wasn't a cherry tree he chopped down. No sir, it was a mesquite tree.

When his daddy asked him if he chopped down the mesquite tree, George said 'I cannot tell a lie...yes I chopped it down'. His daddy said 'cannot tell a lie, huh? Come on boy. We are moving to Virginia. If you can't lie, there ain't no future for you in Texas'.

You can look it up...

Did you know he had an affair with Gen. Green's wife? Sent him to the front lines from a party where he danced with his wife all night almost like the Bible story of David. Back then the media satyed out of personal lives and focused on issues more like taxation and the whiskey rebellion.

I did enjoy your revised history but think honesty is the best policy. LOL

Gee, I'm almost speechless....

I said almost....

just when you think that you've heard it all. I don't know where to begin... with.... what an insult to true victims of cancer? or how can she be so pitiful that she feels that she has to have implants to save a marriage? or...... what a low-down thing to do, to dupe people by preying on their sense of charity?

I agree with your last thought and it is often the case that charities bilk caring people and get away with it. Since her was not a formal charity the outcome may be different.

Skipper you are too funny! A low down thing to do??? ha ha ha, that's great. I work in health care. I don't think anything shocked me more (years ago)than when I found out how much the red cross makes on a pint of blood they SELL to hospitals...over $800.00 dollars and that was over 10 years ago!!!! Now if that isn't a low down thing to do to dupe people by preying on their sense of charity, I don't know what is. The only difference is this texan woman followed by example and she doesn't have a charity like the red cross to hide behind.

Yes, but the breast implants will probably wind up causing breast cancer, so she is actually precognitive...sort of.

actually, you might want to take a look at this:
blood brokering is a billion dollar business for pharmaceutical companies to make their cell lines off of...
you think you are giving blood for someone in your community, and the blood and it's components are sold to big pharma in switzerland, africa, new zealand, china....
all that blood that high school kids give is being SOLD to the highest bidder...
and the blood drive companies make up all sorts of reasons to get it from you...
one pulled up in front of a high school in illinois and told them that they were having a blood drive for Katrina Victims...
so people like stupid sheep rolled up their sleeves, without parental consent, mind you, and that blood was sold to big pharma companies in switzerland to be used to develope a west nile virus vaccine...they were testing the blood to see if any of the donors had been exposed....and had their social security numbers attached to it as well...
I went after them as a parent...and the school for not informing the parents of what the blood was actually being used for. As a medical professional, I knew that there were no needs for blood for Katrina Victims, as their injuries, which were few, were not the kind that would require vast amounts of blood...either you survived the flooding, or you didn't...but it didn't require blood...
yes...this is a nasty ugly secret kept very quiet in this country, and no one does squat about it...

Good for you for standing up! I love it. You are right though, the red cross makes me sick when I see the price tags of all that blood coming into the hospital. Good updated information by the way.
