Teen Falls Into Open Manhole While Texting

Full story: technologyexpert.blogspot.com

In the past, bills have been introduced to prevent pedestrians from text messaging while crossing the street, though I am unaware of any that made it into law. Perhaps such a law would have saved this teen from a ton of embarrassment.

Do you suppose his last text was:

One of my foster sons texts while walking - I am sending him this.

I always laugh at the idiots who get injured while texting. I also laugh at the idiot cowboys when they get gored and tore up while riding bulls, and people who jump out of planes with faulty chutes, and bungee jumpers who get mangled.

I bet there are many people who feel the way I do. I think if someone does something dumb & dangerous, they should expect the worst, and just accept it. If they survive, then they lived to do it again & again if they wish. But to endanger oneself for a 'thrill', is just begging for mishap.

This happens all the time! There are many ER visits each year from people texting when they shouldn't be. Wake up & pay attention people.

Ouch, better the scratch than a blow to the head, goodness gracious.

I'm one to talk, if I see a cute guy (do not tell my bf) I watch the guy and not where I am going, and have tripped a few times. No serious injuries, other than to my pride!

My son in law was hit in the rear end Thursday by someone texting while driving. He had an appointment and had to leave, after the man drove off, he did get a phone number. The cops said they wished he had stayed so they could fry the guy..OH well...messed the bumper up on his nice truck..

This is called 'thinning of the gene pool'. We don't really want this idiot becoming the next Secretary of State or CEO on Wall Street , do we... or even breeding ? He's lucky it wasnt a bus, or a third rail
