Two brothers in Rio are living over the edge - literally: sleeping, working and eating on the side of a building 33 feet up in the air.

No more than in the other stunts where similar allowances are made. But I don't see why they couldn't have made a makeshift restroom. Just have a curtained in area with a bucket with a toilet seat on it.

The article says they are only on the wall 20 hours a day, I guess even apart from the bathroom breaks.

And yes, I think it is cheating, or at least makes them irrelevant. It's like a joke without a punch line somehow; it needs an additional hook or aspect.
