During the height of the swine flu panic, Afghanistan locked up its only pig. Yep, as a Muslim country, there was only one pig in the entire nation, in a zoo. He was sequestered for his own protection, but he's now been released.

No worries. If the pig IS loose, some good ol' USA boys from down South will probably find it and treat it right.

The only question will be what kinda BBQ sauce they will use...and I don't suppose there is much hickory or mesquite to cook over. But they are an enterprising bunch. They will figure it out.

Actually, rather odd to think of any region with only 1 pig in sight. Hope he stays in the Zoo-more protection.

Yep, you learned it from me. Sort of. This pig is male, and others were talking about a female they consider an inconsiderate pig. At least this pig didn't didn't have about 35 piglets. But nobody would be complaining about welfare, just wondering when the cookout will be.

Then again, you probably think this pig should fry. Pork chops and collards sound good about now.

Have you been to those regions? Are you a world traveler and well educated about cultures? have you met most of the men (or women) from other parts of the world?
