So you are dead. That is no excuse for getting out of your civil duty.

lol! Isn't that the truth? Sometimes I think there are dead people on juries. But the ones for Madoff were wide awake. I hope they take all his wife's stuff too! To do that to all those poor mislead people.

He hasn't been able to vote for fourteen years. How could he still be in the jury pool? Then again maybe he has been voting!

Some criminals are as well as brain dead.

Everyone is entitled to a jury of their peers.

But finding 11 more dead ones so the acused could be judge by a jury of there peers, sounds like a dead end decision here,a real stale mate........

So if the accused is a ghost or a corpse, then it makes sense. But then why would a corpse be a defendant? It would be hard for one corpse to kill another corpse.

To expand on your thoughts:

Could the death penalty truly be a deterrant ?

Wouldn't it be redundant to say " Dead man walking " when his day came on the row ?

You do know you can ask for an extension..I think its 6 months. You can also opt out if you got a good enough reason but you have to go stand before the judge and he decides wether or not to let you out of serving.

oh no, this took place a few years ago, but i still need a lumbar pillow if im sitting for long periods of time. so problem is if i start hurting, i really do need to get up and walk around a bit.
it does say on the form u fill out, no excuses, so im just hoping they dont call me for a trial.

Dont believe everything you read, thats only there as a ploy to make you believe you have to do it.
If you really can sit for long periods of time get a letter from your doctor an take it with you.Or maybe just mail it in,I would see the judge face to face if I were in your shoes.

It doesnt matter if the operation took place 20 years ago,if you cant sit for 8-9 hours on end you cant sit.
I believe you can get out of it.

Just fight the system..its crooked anyways

Daily Horoscope for November 27

Gemini

Venus and Mars egg each other on, tempting you towards social and sexual excess. You're far too wise to find yourself in bed with a stranger, but keep the alcoholic drinks to a minimum anyway. You wouldn't want to get wild and then realize you've had a one-night stand with the boss's niece or nephew. Avoid iffy situations.
