ancient culture used to worship people with down syndrome for their gentle nature. I find it very interesting that there probably is a connection with Vishnu and some past mutant thoousands of years ago. Just goes to show how important "normal" productive functioning is to modern man. I wonder if she is in pain?

Genetic mutations happen, the error isn't special, but no doubt the little girl is. This is just another example of a conjoined twin (used to be mistakenly called Siamese twins). This fusion/lack of separation is more rare & obviously only one fetus developed completely-- thus the parasitic twin. There have also been parasitic twins, that appeared to be 2-headed children.

I agree that this is the type of conjoined or parasitic twin that probably created the concept of Vishnu. Very interesting. I don't know about pain but they said she will not survive without the surgery yet the forty hour surgery that is required, she probably won't survive that either, but I sure hope for the best for her.
