Well, in this case, the nice white woman actually cared for and loved these children and was a better mom than their real mother who only got interested in the kids now.
Let the kids decide if they want to live with that nice lady who took good care of them, or their ghetto mom from NOLA.

'Katrina' Caretaker Charged With Kidnapping
A Houston woman has been charged with kidnapping after she allegedly went on the lam with five children she took in after Hurricane Katrina.
