Alleged dog abusers appear in court

I wonder if this criminal couple used one of their last names and are the same couple that lived in Arizona in a certain area a few months ago. Might be, possibility, one of their last names rings a bell with me. If it is the same couple, they left a deceased large dog in a cooler(no ice in it) in a storage locker they abandoned. I'm going to try to find out. I hate child and animal abusers. They are on my mental 'hit list'.
Anyone involved in crime abusing a child or pet person deserves nothing short of the death penalty.

People who abuse animals are warped. They can do it because they are mentally warped, perverts who get a thrill out of hurting the innocent. Don't be surprised if children have been a target as well.

Anyone who gets a thrill from abusing and inflicting needless pain on animals is a pervert and a waste of good oxygen.

why do people who get dogs abuse them anyway because they spend alot of money on dogs then they go and abuse them puppys are just like babies time and patience is the only thing needed then they grow up and come older so why buy them in the first place?

If you watched the video, these type people don't pay a lot of money for dogs or anything else. They abuse dogs because they CAN. They are sadistic and mentally warped. Laws are not strict enough for child abuse much less animal abuse. The problem is, if they abuse animals, most of the time, they abuse children.

Too much of this animal abuse is going on!We need stiffer penalties for abusers.They should turn these people over to the public.I,for one would like to lop his ears off with a pair of scissors!How cruel he is!What is he thinking? I HATE people who abuse innocent animals.For God's sake, if they don't have a clue about the treatment of their pets turn them over to the Humane Society,or at least make an effort to educate yourself,before getting a pet.

I'll get in line and help you with the scissors! I'm fed up with all of the animal abuse that goes on and little to nothing is ever done about it. It should give 'the powers that be' a clue that if you do NOT punish severly, they will continue! I have not figured out if the justice system is full of idiots or those that simply do not care.

I was at the Richmond Kansas council meeting when D.M. stood up and told them he would take the stray animals out and shoot them to save on their budget. It costs them 95.00 to take them to Bea Peck Animal Shelter and last year they took 5 dogs. The council members never said a word, almost like they were considering it !! This man actually works for the Franklin County Sheriffs office part time. He is still a pervert !!

MJR, Excellent posts, I wish there were alot more people like you in this world. The type of people that torture dogs or any animals for that matter need to be punished, and not just a slap on the wrist. The laws are getting tougher in PA, against animal abuse and puppy mills, I applaud this state for finally opening their eyes.

BKS, Please take the time to email Governor Rendell, he is the one pushing for tougher laws against animal abuse in PA. They are FINALLY cracking down on the Amish puppy mills !!

Thank you Debi R, it is heart breaking to hear of so much abuse and so much injustice. There is simply no excuse for abuse in any form. Animals are not the same as humans and I know that, but they are innocent and helpless. These precious animals will lick the hand that abuses them.In most states, those in power who promise to see that justice is done, are not doing their jobs.

MJR, I agree 100%. To be honest, I didn't watch all of the video, I couldn't. but I do know it PA, they are going after these type of people. With the recent raid on an Amish Puppy Mill in Cochranville, PA, I do think the governor is making an honest attempt on dealing with this state wide issue.
I have 2 goldens, I could never hurt them in any way, and God bless the person who would try to inflict any kind of harm on them.

Debi, I know what you mean,many times I just cannot watch the videos. I am happy to here that your state is serious about enforcing the laws.

I’m ashamed to say I live in TN where we do have adequate (could always be stricter) laws, but there always seems to be loopholes.

Just in the past months, in one county, there was a puppy miller, 50 dogs, found in horrible filth, and serious condition. This woman, Brittany Bergez, was charged ‘slightly’ but after all, she was granted the request to keep two horses and two “pet dogs”. I was so shocked!

To top that one there was a veterinarian in that same county charged. He was stabbing dogs directly in the heart without sedation. He was caught on videotape. He got probation and after 2 years his record can be wiped clean. That is just sickening to me.

The worst puppy mill bust I have heard of, to date in Tn, is Patricia Adkisson. This just occured and involved over 700 animals. The stench could be smelled before they entered the property. The worst of this case is…this is NOT her first puppy mill. She was let go before with a minor slap.

We cannot teach children right from wrong when the justice system continues to excuse abusing and torturing innocent dogs. I don’t know what is wrong with society or the justice system. It seems humans have become so uncivilized.

I have two pets (part of my family.) One is a mini pinscher that I rescued and one is a Shepherd/Doberman mix. Like you said, GOD help anyone who tries to hurt them. It’s difficult at times, but I won’t give up fighting for the animals that give so much love and, too many times, get so little, if anything, in return.
