Topix, the largest news community on the Web, announced the launch of its new local real estate pages, featuring aggregated local real estate news and access to over 2.5 million home listings nationwide, provided by Trulia, the nation’s fastest-growing real estate website. Combining traditional news sources, blogs, and government information sites, the local real estate news is also available as commercial news feeds for interested media, real estate and mortgage companies.

Listings aggregator Trulia has developed another widget the company says will help it tap into the "long tail" of visitors to hyperlocal sites by promoting listings tailored to geographic location.

Online news websites are plentiful, but not many of them give you information pertaining to your own local neighborhood.
