Hi, I am straight, and when I have sex with a partner it is just on the physical plane.
I can never get a close emotional bond with her. So when it is over, I just prefer to have a shower and leave.
I am married, but our sexual life now is non-existant.
I would so love to have a romantic, sensual, sexual encounter where passion is intertwined with mutual fullfillment.
From reading this thread, I think I am not alone in the "physical only" type of sexual relationships.

A good start would be to read some of the excellent articles by 'Tinamarie' from the Examiner.com link given at the heading.(There's LOTS of books and weblinks on Tantism too) From your brief note it would seem you are sort of 'pigeon-holing' your relationships (which is ok)- but want something more 'fuller' than this. Until you can decide on what you REALLY want, you'll never have fulfillment. Only you can decide, but a few counselling sessions might at least guide you in the right direction (but don't expect to be given any 'Answers'- that's up to YOU!) Good luck.

I would suggest having more full contact activities without the motive of sex. Full body massages and make-out sessions will open you guys to a list of possible routes your sexual energies can course. This will also give you better insight to each other's bodies because you're taking the time...
