How the 'Family Values' Political Scandals May Benefit Gay Marriage

One by one, the so-called "family values" Republicans--including those considered potential 2012 presidential candidates--are falling like dominoes.

Actually, it is the entire of the Christian Religion that IS, in fact, WRONG. The difference is that I can prove it with historic and relevant material substantiation. All one has to do is read an actual bible, written in the original Latin, prior to 1100 CE. Gays are not "wrong" there, and plural marriage is the norm, among people as young as 13! The interpretation upon translation made errors. Then in the 1600's, King James, a notorious prude, had the bible rewritten to his preference - and what James hated most about himself, he had "abomination"-ized in his bible - James was gay, and didn't want to be. So he made his "dark desires" an abomination against god so that he could justify his repression of those feelings. But as I said, he did that after the bible was already mistranslated to begin with.

PART I.

Actually, only those who read, write and speak ancient, Biblical Hebrew can really opine with credibility regarding what the Baaaaaahble says regarding Homosexuality.

The Bible didn't fall from heaven written in Jacobean English, bound in Morrocan leather with 24-Karat gold leaf edging adorning its pages. It was originally written in Hebrew and ONLY those who have academic credentials as evidence that they possess expertise in biblical linguistics, that is, they know how to read, write and speak ancient, biblical Hebrew have credibility, standing and legitimate authority to opine regarding what the Bible REALLY says about homosexuality. Those who do not possess academic credentials in biblical linguistics are merely depending on other people's translations of the Bible.

How accurate are these other people's translations? Mistaken translations are the same as FALSE translations and false translations always result in FALSE interpretations. False translations and their consequent FALSE interpretations cannot be the TRUE WORD OF GOD.
The following is the expert opinion Rabbi Gershon Caudill who was educated from early boyhood to read, write and speak his ancestral language, ancient, biblical Hebrew on what the Bible, in its original Hebrew, REALLY says about homosexuality.

HEALING THE SO-CALLED "TEXTS OF TERROR" - A REINTERPRETATION OF THE SUPPOSED PROHIBITION ON HOMOSEXUALITY IN THE HEBREW SCRIPTURES

PART II.

As a result of his early teaching to continually wrestle with the Sacred texts and to seek to bring the texts into relevence in the modern world, since 1994, Rabbi Steinberg-Caudill has been seriously involved in a compassionate study of the so-called "anti-homosexual" verses found in the Book of Leviticus. He has searched extensively in the Hebrew Scriptures, in the Dead Sea Scrolls, in both the Jerusalem and Babylonian Talmuds, and in other Jewish historical writings.
With the help of not only his own Jewish sources, but also those of Roman Catholic, Greek Orthodox and Latin Rite linguists and scholars, plus an LDS (Mormon) Biblical Languages student at Emory University, Rabbi Gershon Steinberg-Caudill has also been able to study original translations of the Hebrew, Greek and Latin texts.

This serious study has also involved reviewing the various Biblical manuscripts and translations, Talmudic responsa texts and other materials of a collateral nature to the subject matter being studied; i. e. history, anthropology, archaeology, philology, etymology, etc. It has required, often times, an attempt to reconstruct the ancient mindset of the pre-Babylonian conquest (586 BCE) Israelite people.

As a result of this serious research, Rabbi Steinberg-Caudill is completely convinced that THE ORIGINAL HEBREW TEXTS OF THE TORAH (the Hebrew Chumash - the Five Books of Moses) HAD ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO SAY CONCERNING HOMOSEXUALITY AS WE UNDERSTAND THE TERM "HOMOSEXUALITY" TO MEAN IN TODAYS WORLD!

Sadly, the reality of our human history is that the texts of Leviticus (and Deuteronomy) which were utilized by the teachers and rabbis of the Jewish tradition to condemn homosexuality, were so employed under a direct and constant danger and THREAT from the dominant and controlling Christian governmental and ecclesiastical authorities who needed to have the "perceived" Jewish interpretation of the texts, as taught by the Jewish rabbinical authorities, to be in accordance with their own Christian commentaries and teachings on homosexuality and what they believed (falsely) to be sexual perversion. Thus, they kept a close watch on what the Jewish rabbis wrote about subjects sensitive to Church dogma.

This period of the condemnation of homosexuals, coincides with similar condemnation edicts against witches, healers, and heretics which began mostly in the 4th to 6th centuries of the common era (CE), which was at least 1500 years after the original texts of Leviticus and Deuteronomy was codified into the Hebrew Torah. This condemnation was largely misplaced and did not represent the actual views of the writers and compilers of either Leviticus or Deuteronomy..."
In a future post, I direct my missles toward the pack of homophobic, Christian fundamentalist preachers, reverends, pastors, ministers, etc., who got their titles of "divinity" our of a box of cornflakes and who can't read, write or speak ancient Hebrew and who are constantly squawking against the human and civil rights of the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Community as well as crowing about alleged "Traditional Family Value,"

Well, let us just cast a cold, surveilling eye on the so called "Traditional Family Values" that homophobic Christian fundamentalists allege have come down to us from the Baaaaaaaaaiiiiiiihble via examples of the pious lives of some of the more celebrated venerable fathers of the Hebrew people.

Okaaaaaaaaaaay, how about incest? What, that incest is NOT a Traditional Family Value" from the get go in the Bible?

Gee, then with whom did Cain and Abel beget their children? Eve? Yuck. Must have been their sisters. Incest.

Out of Abraham's own patriarchal mouth comes the confession in Genesis 20:12 that Sara, his wife, is his father daughter, that is, his half sister. Incest.

Isaac, a son of Abraham, married his niece Rebekah, granddaughter of his uncle Nahor. Incest

Lot, nephew of Abraham got drunk on wine in a cave with his two daughters with whom he had sex and fathered two bastard-sons-grandsons. Incest.

Exodus 6:20 states that "Amram married his father's sister Jochebed, who bore him Aaron and Moses. Amram lived 137 years." Incest

Then we have, King Solomon, alleged songwriter of Song of Songs in which he caterwauls like an alley cat in heat about his love for his "sister and bride" under whose tongue there is honey and milk. Hmmmmmmm, just how did he know that. Did he stick his tongue under her tongue and tasted it? Incest.

Thou hast ravished my heart, MY SISTER, MY BRIDE;

With one chain of thy neck.

Yeah, right, tell me about those "Tradtional Family Values" from the Bible.

The people who speak the loudest about morality have the most immorality to hide. Example: Sally Kern. Her family was tied with the KKK. She has a gay son she essentially doesn't acknowledge. She is the perfect example of a hypocrite. And then we add on the fact the overall divorce rate is 56%, and is higher with Republicans/conservatives. People hate others to try to mask or feel better about their own weaknesses.
