Have you noticed how supposedly "religious experts" on relationships try to tell us "how" we should be living our lives? I don't think a priest is completely out of line to discuss this, but it would depend on the priest. There are some married priests in the Catholic Church (I suppose they came from an Anglican-like tradition), and priests can teach directly out of the Bible.

I don't think people (like John Gray) who experiment with prostitutes have ANY idea how to give advice (Mars/Venus book guy) on what's right about sex (especially to Catholics ), on the other hand I can imagine that Catholic priests have heard many egregious tales in the confessional and can advise others NOT to make the same mistakes.

And what exactly is wrong with prostitutes? I'll take what they know over what a priest hears second hand in a confessional any day.
