Not that the source of this allegation is Andy Martin.

Sure he describes himself in the linked story as a "legendary Chicago muckraker".

But Martin is actually well known in the Chicago area as a notorious political kook and perennial failed candidate for every office under the sun.

He's now APOLOGIZED for it, which, in my mind, isn't good enough.

Apologizing for a mistake in a situation where his vote was a crucial vote doesn't make him qualified to now be a SENATOR. Only NOW that he wants to be a senator does he APOLOGIZE for something so stupid.
