Keating explodes: outlaw intrusive media

ENRAGED by what he regards as an invasion of his family's privacy, the former prime minister Paul Keating has called for the rewriting of privacy laws so that media would have to gain someone's permission before publishing a photograph or story about their private life.

Mister Keating is so right.Current media are a law unto themselves,we have some media invade who invade peoples homes, take unflattering photos of bereaved individuals then provide opinionated stories often based on such unlikely sources as a quote from an anonymous'family friend'then prosecute individuals for 'crimes' without the benefit of our legal system.
