They have health benefits in their own countries. If they feel so badly here about our stance on these issues, they are welcome - hell, make that ENCOURAGED - to GO HOME!

Why would they pay for health care when they're already getting it for free? They will continue flooding our ER'S and community clinics. It's the reason our health care system and everything else is in the toilet.

We can't afford illegals and unless these fools in Washington wake up and realize it...nothing they try to do will improve anything. No one is wanting to address the root of the problem.

Illegal immigration and the impact it's having on our schools, economy and health care system is not being addressed...period.

I'm sure some of you have heard the expression 'Give them an inch, they'll take a yard' Well that's exactly what these illegals and their bully leaders are doing. It's not enough that we treat them better than the rat hole they crawled out of, now they demand we take care of them in every which way they ask for. How many Americans get even half of what these illegals suck out of our social services? Many get free child care, food stamps, WIC, emergency medical (which isn't emergency at all like prenatal) medical for their anchor babies, free education, section 8 housing, free appliances, legal representation, and all the other free services our infrastructure provides such as libraries, parks etc. When is enough enough?

I tried to comment on an Obama article on AOL yesterday, that was giving 4 reasons why his administration is losing popularity...Immigration was not one of them! AOL was screening out the words ILLEGAL, and E-VERIFY, if you wanted your comment to go through you had to mis-spell them. Amnesty might have been a screened out word also. Took me 3 times to get my comment to stick.
I believe AOL was CENSORING comments.

If you think the fight over Nationalizing Health Care was bitter next year we can expect fist fights to break out inside the halls of Congress. With the Health care debate slipping into early next year, the immigration debate will slip closer to the election. I can't wait to see the congressional turnover if any form of amnesty is being debated or has been slammed down the throats of the American electorate. I can't wait to see how this plays out.

These politicians in washington are so out of touch with the American people and are busy with their own agendas they will not see what's coming down on them till it is too late. Hmmm, an elected USA representative is fighting to get foreign nationals benefits that will take from USA taxpayers. He didn't say those were his goals when he ran for office.

Old Gutterass is at it again....wahhhh wahhhh.... Our problem with ILLEGALS getting healthcare can be fixed quite easily.

Right now if they are sick they get to walk into the emergency room and get treated. Then they get to walk out the door of the hospital and blend back into society until they need medical care again. That has to STOP!!!!

They should not be allowed to leave the hospital after being treated. As of now the hospital is required to notify law enforcement if someone shows up with a gunshot wound or shows signs of being abused. If someone walks in with no ID and can't speak english and needs their 10 year old kid to translate for them chances are pretty good they are here ILLEGALLY. ICE should be notified.

Also...their consul should be notified that they are in the hospital and what type of care they need. The hospital will provide only the minimal services necessary to stabilize the ILLEGAL but at the same time advise the consul what type of care is needed and how much it will cost.The hospital will provide the additional care as long as the consul PAYS FOR IT. If not then it is not the AMERICAN TAXPAYER denying treatment but that persons own country!!!! In either case they don't get to leave the hospital. They get sent home if treated or sent to the closest hospital in their own country. Anyone that came with them to the hospital that is here ILLEGALLY also gets deported!

If this stops them from seeking medical attention in the first place then that is on them,not us

And Rep. Gutterass and anyone else who thinks ILLEGALS should be granted AMNESTY should be charged with and tried for TREASON. Imagine REWARDING people who have ignored our laws with citizenship. That would be like someone breaking into your house and you putting their name on the deed.

You're right, it isn't being addressed and that's bc it's the elephant in the living room. This whole f*cking healthcare reform is about getting medical care lined up for the illegals (ie the illegals Obama plans to legalize) and the expected chain migration of 4-6 times, roughly 46-80+ million.
