Defender's role in protest against Sheriff Arpaio probed

The actions of Pima County Legal Defender Isabel Garcia at a protest last month against Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio are "under review" after top county officials were flooded with complaints.

Garcia, who is active with the immigrant rights group Derechos Humanos, participated in a protest at a signing event at a Barnes & Noble bookstore promoting a book by Arpaio, who has a national reputation for anti-illegal-immigrant raids and tough jail conditions.

Why don't they protest in their own country? Because illegals are cowards and parasites.

I just watched the 2 videos. A protest is one thing, but what I saw really disturbs me. It looks as if two young people smashing the effigy are teenagers. Is this what we want to teach our youth? This is the kind of thing I have seen in other countries, but I didn't think it was how we acted in this country. Also, I don't think a pubic official (Isabel Garcia) should do what she did -- parading around with the "head" of Arpaio.
What would be the reaction if the effigy had been the President of the US? Or if an Anglo had done the same thing to an effigy of the President of Mexico?
