Notice the sources and notice they never mentiond all the new species found in the same time frame. I also noticed that they were talking about things like poverty reduction. I have yet to see a poverty reduction plan that worked or didn't involve mass wealth redistrubition in order to make everyone poor.

Hi Tina Anne

Just a short message to say 'well done'! Keep up the good blogging. You're prolific!... potentially prophetic, definitely passionate.

On the subject here, however, the comparison between known endangered mammals against recently found ones is a misnomer. After all you can't lose what you had never found in the first place. And what you do find is not necessarily a positive indication (or mitigating one)- as there's a high chance that much of what is unfound may have already been lost.

True, in some cases evolution steps in and creates new species for new enviroments. Other cases old species evolve into one or more new species. Yes you lost the old one but you gained the new one.

The truth is if these doomsayers were right then we should just about be out of animals. Yet we still seem to have plenty. I guess they have forgotten that mother nature is one mean bitch when she wants to be.
