Yeah, how about all the killings of indigenous peoples while trying to convert them - Mexico, California, South America, and so on!

Any belief that contradicted theirs was considered heresy and they sent armies to kill entire cultures.
The Catholics invented genocide.
You believe every lie you were taught in the public schools don't you? I'll bet you even believe the Catholic church persecuted the protestants of England don't you? Typical brain washed idiot.

Actually, you'll discover 80 percent of the poplulation of most countries south of our border is a mix between the Spaniards and the native population. Typically, only 10 percent is pure blooded Spanish and 10 percent is pure blooded indian.

This is because the Catholic church prohibitted the massacre of the native population and prohibitted enslaving the native population. These countries are integrated. Some were 100 percent integrated. 100 percent mixed. In those countries the natives were so passive they didn't try to kill the Spaniards. Indeed, the Spaniards were their allies against more aggressive tribes.

In the US, the indians faired much worse because the English protestants were quite racist. Many of the tribes were completely exterminated just because they were in the way. Many of the tribes that survived did do by fleeing to Mexico and Canada. The Catholic church prohibitted their slaughter in Mexico and their French and Indian cousins in Quebec prevented their slaughter in Canada even though their were many Canadian protestants advocating their extermination.

Well for one, with the US at 10% unemployment, the business regulations you suggest would be disastrous.

Wow, this Catholic Patriot is really brain-washed. Totally blind and unwilling to accept that his holy church has been a HUGE force of evil in the world. You cannot argue or reason with one who cannot see reason.

Altogether I have attended (endured rather) fourteen years worth of Catholic schooling and it was Catholicism that taught me about all the "bad" things the Catholic church did. Not to mention one good very good thing the last Pope's did, which was to issue an apology for all the sins of the Chruch. What are you talking about?!

Not doing anything is more disasttrous. And how would be people telecommuting be that hard on businesses? It would even allow them to draw talent they might not otherwise be able to because of geography?

As for restrictions on development, offer a carrot as well as a stick by encouraging density in urban areas with tax breaks, etc. Same with moderate income housing.

Actually in school I was a brainwashed idiot. It took me 30 years to overcome it and restore myself to an intelligent human...lol.

I didn't invent that stuff. It is available to anyone who will do the research.

You will find, if you weren't to lazy to look and instead chose to belittle another, that this information is available in more than one place.

Wherever citizens have been allowed to VOTE on having homosexual "marriage," it has been defeated even in liberal California.

People instinctually know that homosexual sex is unnatural.

Homosexuals can carry on, they just need to realize that they don't have to force the rest of society to normalize and accept what is inherently against nature.

Some animals also practice gang rape and extreme violence during sex...

Just because an animal does it doesn't mean that a human, the only animal with reason, should do it.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Taurus

Friends and partners aren't behaving as you would like today. They're eager to go their own way, much to your annoyance. In order to get round this you're going to have to ask yourself some tricky questions, such as whether you're trying to control everyone's behavior or whether they're being inconsiderate in wanting to do their own thing. It's a Full Moon and a lunar eclipse, so maybe you should all release the tension by making it a super New Year's Eve celebration?
