Fallen pastor Ted Haggard to again lead worship

Ted Haggard, who was dismissed from the megachurch he founded after a man alleged a cash-for-sex relationship with him, plans to lead people in worship again.

He's the one who preached against gays and the whole time he was getting high and sucking...you know what. HYPOCRITE. Like I care about HIS struggles. His kind of attitude hurts thousands of others. He should accept who he is and come out and be a role model for those who are so deeply closeted and self loathing. Look at Larry Craig. Another self loathing gay who tried his best to hurt others who were just like him to deny who he was.

Yup, somehow he "cured" his homosexuality in 2 weeks. Do you honestly think if there was actually a cure most of us wouldn't do it? I, for one, hate being gay. I hate how it defines who I am in society and I despise how it makes me an outcast. For once I wish I could just walk up to a group of guys and hang out without the the big neon "homosexual" sign hanging above my head. It is unreal how extreme the difference is with how I get treated depending on if I'm in a gay or straight bar. Ted Haggard is just as gay as he was when he was sniffing crystal meth and screwing a hustler. His moralist attitude however makes him evil and vile.

How he deals with his own homosexuality is his business unless he is telling either people how to deal with theirs, which is exactly what he has done, all the while taking thier money for it and spending it on drugs. HE'S the one who saw that even his holiness could not keep from being who he really was. In a way, I agree with you, he is pathetic and sad and tortured.
If he came out and was who he really was, his relief would be off the charts. he can pray until the cows come home. He is still as gay as a goose, and he knows it, and will know it, until his dying day. I pity him.

Good God Mike, don't do that to yourself. Do NOT hate what you are. You have nothing to regret. I have many straight pals who are 100% cool with who I am and a couple I have called my *straightboyfriends. I was lucky enough to have been born in Los Angeles area and have worked in TV for decades, but is your town so bad for homophobia?
If someone offered me gay cure today, I would turn it down. I love who I am and I love my life. It is all I know and have known since I can recall anything. And I mean back to like age 4 or 5.
Don't take on the same self loathing of Haggard. That is why he needed to use drugs during sex, to avoid thinking due to his self loathing.
Don't think that way. You are worth much more than that poor goober in Colorado. At least you are HONEST with yourself. A major plus.
