The talibangelicals want nothing more than complete pogroms against open g/l/b/t people. If you're Sen. Lindsay Graham or Gov. Crist of Phyllis Schlafly's son and you keep quiet enough about it, then the "faith biased" fundies will overlook it.
Looks like they're having a rough patch. Praiz! |

No, we don't like what is being said from SOME pulpits, because what is being said is ugly, hateful and downright evil. Churches that preach an anti-gay theology may call themselves Christian, but they sure aren't very Christ-like. While like everyone else we are capable of doing wrong, being gay isn't in and of itself wrong and neither is the physical expression of being gay if held to the same standards that govern straight behavior. While sometimes the best exercise of your freedom of speech is saying nothing at all, you don't have to and neither do we. So is yours, but your sexual orientation isn't and neither is ours. While we do choose how we live with being gay, being gay in the first place is not something we are given a choice in. Our not being born to be gay is a lie you have to tell yourself in order to justify your intolerance and hate. The reality is, for the scientists who study such things, the question is no longer whether we are born this way, but how. That is something that puts a real damper on your dubious lifestyle choice of being bigoted against us, even by claiming that the Bible tells you so. We are not seeking "special treatment" or "special laws to protect us" but equality and that means the passage of laws which protect all of us equally, gay or straight... |

We should only pass laws saying talibangelical loons can't adopt, marry whom they wish, serve openly in the armed forces or be protected from arbitrary firing, as you cretins have done regarding gays and lesbians. So much for your xstain fundie lies about "special laws" that g/l/b/t people are seeking. Praiz! |
