Funny. 70% of straight families are dysfunctional, but nobody seems to think that it's a problem.

I had abusive straight parents. Nobody broadcasted them as a reason why straight people shouldn't breed, but here they are f*cking like bunnies and the Pope goes on about how birth control is a sin, making things even worse.

My girlfriend proposes to sterilize all the stupid people in the world and send them to greenland. You know who would be left? A lot of gay people and a few straight people that realize that common sense outweighs an outdated book.

Actually, I notice that the article says the father offered somebody else his son's "sexual services" rather than engaging them himself. That makes him a pimp, rather than obviously a pedophile,* although still equally complicit in child abuse.

*I cannot tell from the information presented whether he is in fact a pedophile himself---regardless his problem is a violation of the moral imperative to not sexually abuse a child. Whether the sexual abuse specifically comes from him, or comes from someone else with his cooperation, is irrelevant to the fact that harm is committed by him.

But the "gays = sexual deviants = pedophiles" progression drawn by the bigots from this case is potentially even less accurate or applicable here than it normally is.

I'm a gay male, and I don't think gay couples should raise kids. I know a lot of gay people will be offended by this, but I'm standing by my opinion. I know two lesbians in their late 50s/early 60s raising a 10 year old boy as their son. The boy has behavioral problems, no doubt. And his two mommies don't seem very interested in raising such a child -- they are too old, too tired, and seem to regard the child as a "nuisance." Other gay couples I've known have had similar situations. A human child deserves to have a parent of each sex -- we need that balance in our psychological development. I believe that many gay couples have kids because of selfish reasons. If they were truly honest, many of them would admit that they do NOT have the child's best interests foremost in their minds and hearts.

Gays should be allowed to marry just as heterosexuals do. But I draw the line at having and raising children.

Next, this man is a pedophile and clearly not fit to be a parent or be around kids in any way. Pedophilia is a sexual paraphilia that is not connected to homosexuality or heterosexuality. THAT is what needs to be known here by everyone. Alot of people want to make pedophilia a gay male thing, then alot of people want to blame religious people, or white straight men. But pedophilia is its own sexual disorder, it has no connection to race or religion or whether someone is or isnt gay.
