Thank goodness that a government has the strength to stand up to an archaic religious group that does not support stable relationships if they do not conform to their notion of what is "godly." Government is not about them, but about all people.

It suddenly occurred to me. The Catholic church forbids its' clergy to be married. It forbids the nuns to marry. It forbids gays and lesbians to marry. Seems they are the ones who are endangering marriage.

Although I live in the USA I think there's more freedom for homossexuals in many other countries than here. I hope Brazil fully recognizes the right of gays and so teaches the USA a lesson.
