Stop beating a dead horse and get with the agenda. We should all be working hard to convince our Senators and Representatives to get on board with our issues. We have our Presidents support, let's use it.

Obamas comparison of our cause to the racial civil rights movement of the past slammed a door on one hell of a lot of naysayers. That is a very, very significant move. Now lets move on.

As for the naysayers of Lezgetreal, where are YOUR ideas to get this job done beyond blogging anti-Obama rhetoric?

Tom

First of all, this is what Lt. Colonel Fehrenbach talked about, not me. You will usually find that MY opinion pieces tend to be far more fair to the Obama administration. As for moving on- I believe that President Obama has finally started in on what I, at least, have recommended. That is, actually talking to us.

Oh yes, and we have worked with Reps Baldwin and Sestak rather a lot, and written a number of pieces about them.

So, before screaming and yelling about us 'naysayers' at LGR, please actually read every single political article that we have written to date.

What can I say nice about Obama? He has cute ears. He can talk a lot. That’s about it I think.

3 1/2 years from now while we still wait for action he will still have cute ears and still be talking a lot.

<<about his action, or more accurately, lack there of>>

Are YOUR words, not those of the good Lt. Colonel. If that's not an opinion I don't know what to call it.

No one was SCREAMING or YELLING about LezGetReal but merely stating an opinion of the general direction the organization appears to be taking, that of the naysayer.

Tom,

Even Obama admitted in that clip that his administration has not been moving very fast.

And, you can kvetch all you want, but until you have read every single article on our site about Obama, Congress and the political process, complaining about a single sentence in the introduction to a video clip seems rather pointless.

BTW, it is called being critical. I believe that being critical of someone even if we support them politically has to be done.

The thing is, a naysayer is someone who will attack President Obama irregardless of what he does. That would be Daniel. I, at least, am more than willing to blog about the good stuff with the bad. That makes me responsible.

Oh, but I forgot that people don't like it when someone is critical of their icons and heroes.

You know something, Tom, I'm sick and tired of the fact that so many of you on the Topix board choose LGR to go after. Take a look out there Tom, how many of those articles about Obama say a heck of a lot worse. I remember getting into a fight with one of you guys over the fact that our site was analyzing news and they had to follow another link to get to the original stories. I remember one of you guys complaining constantly because we would post a second story that was identical to one posted a bit before- even though the guy complaining did that constantly himself! I remember one of you guys complaining because we posted our stories in groups together.

MY point right now is that it seems like its a lot easier for you guys to complain about the lesbians on the boards posting and being willing to be critical.

Take that as you want. Personally, most of the time, I just don't comment anymore. However, I am still going to post our articles on this site. Too bad if you don't like what we write. Sorry if we're interfering with your hero worship.

Last Post-

Tom, my last post about the President I actually DID agree with President Obama. I did point out that he is right that these laws have to go through the courts and through Congress. However, the only person to comment on that one was Daniel and his never ending attempt to get people to agree with him about impeaching the President for not breaking the law. It seems that if I say something nice about the President, no one reads it, and if I say something negative- you kvetch about it.
