Having been raised and come out in Massachusetts, I left permanently because politics in that state are and always have been corrupt in one form or another. I have never liked Frank. I have always despised the Kennedys for their lacier-than-thou attitude. The Commonwealth had a Republican Governor King who was corrupt through and through.

Frank's self-importance would be astounding anywhere else. He made the classic left-wing error -- he planned to tax and spend so everyone could have a house. Well, darlin', it doesn't work that way, as we all have seen.

All that said, the world will recover. I think that in about 6 or 7 years we'll be back where we were but on sounder footing.

By the Grace of God.

Thank you for your candid post. Its nice to know there are still independent thinkers in this nation; the last 8 years had convinced me that we all died off. It was also a revelation to me that LGBT people are no less likely to be moronic automatons than their str8 counterparts. Step one toe off of the spoon-fed Democratic line and incur their lavender wrath! I'm sure you've found the same in your experience.

O'Riley has no respect for Frank. It is probably because Frank disagrees with him. But O'Riley is also too conservative to accept Frank's sexuality. So, his dismissal of Frank's discussion with him is probably both.
