Yes it does matter if a child has the genes of both parents. Why do you think adopted kids spend their whole lives searching for their biological parents?

And don't try to justify your perverted lifestyles by saying that there's a 50% divorce rate. Heterosexualy doesn't cause divorce. It's the stupid people involved. And although they are stupid, it doesn't make heterosexuality wrong or the orientation 'less correct'.

and straight marriage is something to honor and cherish when there is over 50% divorce rate and in this day and time an average straight marriage last only 8 years, and what happens to those childern of divorcees, what they grow up thinking it is their fault and used by both parents to out do the other. What about those now single mothers raising childern and those deadbeat dads, not stepping up to the plate and being a man to help take care of their own, look lady before you go knocking gay marriages, what don't you try and find the problem in straight marriages, yeah it is really a joke now a days, like celebrities getting married for all of 15 hours, then realizing it was a mistake, what does that truly say about your precious straight marriage, what are you afraid of us gays/lesbians showing you what it is all about...:)
