VIDEO: Teens with gay parents stand-up for gay marriage in California

Teenagers with lesbian and gay parents have created a video that shows their normalcy and highlights their healthy families. The group is using the piece to help strengthen community support to oppose California's Proposition 8. A recent poll indicates that fifty-five percent of likely voters oppose Prop 8, an increase from 51 percent who opposed it just a few months ago. The percentage of undecided voters has been steady - at 7 percent. Watch the video.

It's "funny" how so many of the anti-gay industry that like to label themselves as "pro-family" pay absolutely no attention to any families. Let's see, who has destroyed more families, these christofascist "pro-family" groups or the rest of us "dirty" gays? Hmmm We are trying to create families; they are trying to disband them. Pro-family? I don't bloody think so!

The kids in this video recognize this. Their families have been trivialized for far too long.

As a mother, it is a wonderful gift to share in the love and joy of your child's wedding day. The excitement, anticipation and happiness are overwhelming. I once believed I would never have the opportunity to be a part of such a special day with my daughter, Ellen.
