Study says: U.S. needs adoption rights for gay and lesbian parents

A recent non-partisan study reached a "universal professional consensus" that same-sex couples should universally be included in the adoption pool. Besides the emotional hardships, a national ban on gay adoptions could add $87 million to $130 million to foster care system expenditures each year, the report said, citing previous research. Not only would children who are removed from gay and lesbian homes be placed in group or institutional care, which is more costly, the state would incur the costs of recruiting and training new foster parents. This is the article in the chicago tribune:

What people who are against gays adopting kids cannot do is give a valid reason, outside of religion, for their views.
Every.....EVERY non-religious, scientific, medical and psychological group that give a non-partisan view on this say the same thing. Gay parents are just a capable and loving as straight parents.

But the religious freaks don't care, they only listen to their bible. Their biggest fear is that a child raised by a gay couple may turn out to be gay. Yes, rational people know that is just stupid & ignorant, but that's what drives them. Remember, they believe sexuality is chosen. Of course that's also why they always demonize gays, because they're afraid they themselves might choose to be gay if it wasn't such an evil sin.

... and they are so blinded by their bigotry, they are willing to deny vulnerable children the permanent, capable, loving families they deserve.

In the bigots' minds it's apparently OK to sacrifice children's futures so long as those uppity gays and lesbians are kept in their places.
