That's funny. McCain threw the first rock and then points the finger. Of course McCain himself promised a better campaign. Maybe he forgot. And while Obama's attacks are largely related to the issues, McCain's attacks are personal in nature. His own campaign acknowledges that they can't win on the issues. This is a bad idea for his campaign. Informed voters will see this for what it is. Obama defending himself from the type of "swift boat" campaign the McCain campaign is resorting to.

Oh, that's an interesting statement coming from McCain, since his whole campaign is basically a lie. Bit Fox Noise won't be picking up on that, I bet. Larry, Independent TX voter

McCain should inquire of Obama what Obama's mentor, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, meant when he stated "Barack Obama is a politician and he will say anything to get himself elected"? This was said during Wright's rant at the National Press Club earlier this summer.

it's too funny how they just say "he lied" without giving any factual evidence at all!!! this attack is only smoke-screen to cover the lies that McCain has spouted... within the last three weeks: "The principals of the economy are sound." "We have a crisis." My next prediction for the McCain camp.... they are going to distance themselves from the wall-street bailout that they just voted for. Oh yeah. I love how the McCain camp is screaming for change... um dude.. you have been in washington for the past 30+ years!!! You participated in the corruption that you are "rampant" and "wide-spread" !!!

If you still believe McCain puts "country first," read the following article. It's the sort of well researched journalism that we seldom see these days: "This is the story of the real John McCain, the one who has been hiding in plain sight. It is the story of a man who has consistently put his own advancement above all else, a man willing to say and do anything to achieve his ultimate ambition: to become commander in chief... http://www.rollingstone.com/news/story/233169...

This Just In….More Obama Fraud Tuesday, October 07, 2008 Nevada state authorities seized records and computers Tuesday from the Las Vegas office of an organization that tries to get low-income people registered to vote, after fielding complaints of voter fraud. Bob Walsh, spokesman for the Nevada secretary of state's office, said the raid was prompted by ongoing complaints about "erroneous" registration information being submitted by the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, also called ACORN. The group was submitting the information through a voter sign-up drive known as Project Vote. "Some of them used nonexistent names, some of them used false addresses and some of them were duplicates of previously filed applications," Walsh said, describing the complaints, which largely came from the registrar in Clark County, Nev. Secretary of State Ross Miller said the fraudulent registrations included forms for the starting lineup of the Dallas Cowboys football team. McCain has to launch the ads because the biased media will NOT do any investigative reports that hurt the Obama camp. Please TRY to find ONE negative article about Obama in the main stream media (ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, NYT)...even right this minute on CNN...there are two anti-McCain articles AND two PRO-Obama articles. If the media won't spread the truth about Obama and his numerous faults, MCCain will have to do it in his commercials.

it makes me laugh... because any real politician knows that these claims are nothing new. it happens all the time in politics... and yes. republicans do it too... it is the reason why there are voting monitors, judges, and lawyers on hand at the real polling places... this was news in the 1980s... every major politician has people doing this for them... it happened on behalf of Mr Bush too: http://leighhouse.typepad.com/blog/2004/11/er... to think that Obama would pay money to have people do it for him in such a poor manner is ignorant... real politicians that want to win make promises to the voting booth companies.

McBUSH said he would run an HONORABLE campaign, but he has turned into an EVIL FRAUD. He can't talk about his policies or actual REFORM because his ideas are the SAME failed policies of BUSH. McBUSH attacks Obama with ads full of patent LIES and allows people at his rallies to call Obama a "terrorist" and say, "Kill him!" McBUSH never rebuffs such heinous comments because McBUSH will do ANYTHING to win. He has become an EVIL demagogue. I am SHOCKED at his OUTRAGEOUS behavior and POOR JUDGMENT. Obama will win big, WITH HONOR.

If anyone feels either candidate is above corruption, has led an honorable campaign or will adhere to every promise that has been made, you are a fool. Who has made the least amount of promises? That is the one who will disappoint you the least. The truth of the matter is, each candidate is corrupt, whether from the Political machine of Chicago, or the District of Columbia.
