John McCain and John Lewis are not friends

Lewis is an icon in the civil rights community. As a student he was active and also served with Martin Luther King Jr. John McCain was an opponent of the making King's birthday a legal holiday back in the early '80s.

So why should King have his own holiday anyway. He's hardly the greatest American that ever lived, far from it, yet he's the only person who has his own Day? I don't understand that at all.

He "had a dream". So what? I've got a dream too, no welfare, lower taxes, black males that actually raise their kids, blacks that quit killing everyone who is unlucky enough to cross their path. How about that dream?

JOHN MCCAIN STORIES
Americans of all political persuasions are coming to the sad realization that
our war hero---a man of undoubted talents who was a role model for many
of his generation--is a congenital liar.
Tale by tale, McCain story lifted from a russian novelist, the case is being made he is compelled to mislead,
and ensnare his subordinated and friends in a web of deceit. Take a good look at how drastically
his carefully crafted images are lifted from Russia novelist. Senator McCain election year history book image
is that of a man out of a story book which each written line change at the drop of a pen.
Using poor judgment Senator McCain found himself in the middle of several real life situations he do not want to expose without the
use of a pen to change the story line. Some things in history John McCain cannot change:

McCain's Double Standard: Hawk In The Drug War, Yet His Wife Got No Penalty
by Stanton Peele

The other possible public reaction is one of anger. Americans are prosecuted every day for such drug use. While most drug abusers purchase their drugs from street dealers, Mrs. McCain used her status as a charity director and senator's wife to cajole the drugs she wanted.

In fact, Mrs. McCain was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration after the agency was approached by a former staff member of her charity. The investigation resulted in no charges or prison time for her, and she entered a diversion program. While these records were not made public at the time, Mrs. McCain eventually confessed her drug use when she learned that a reporter was investigating the story.

Is Mrs. McCain to be judged as a pitiable victim or as a criminal felon? This debate is at the heart of the discussion of American drug policy. Should we deal with illicit drug users as victims or as criminals?

Let's examine Mrs. McCain's position in these terms. She was the privileged wife of a prominent family and spouse of an important politician, a person who had her own position of prestige and power. Should she not be held at least as accountable for her actions as an uneducated inner-city drug user? After all, she could enter drug treatment at any time she chose, unlike many drug users who find themselves in prison.

Moreover, Mrs. McCain was violating a position of trust by stealing from a charitable organization, using its money and medical expertise to fuel her drug use. Is this not morally more reprehensible than simply purchasing drugs illegally?

Finally, Mrs. McCain was the mother of four children at the time she admits to using drugs--between 1989 and 1992. Her children were born in 1984, 1986, 1988 and 1991. In other words, Cindy McCain was using drugs while raising small children, one of whom she adopted while she was an addict. In most states, family services will remove children from a woman who is known to be an active drug addict, and she would certainly not be allowed to adopt a child while addicted. Read more:

No shit, Fred?
USED to be we celebrated WASHINGTON'S birthday in February, Lincoln's too, we didn't lump them all together with the likes of Millard Fillmore and Jimmy Carter.
Maybe, because I'm NOT I a guilt ridden liberal geek, I believe Washington and Lincoln did a WHOLE lot more for the U.S. than Marty did.
But, of course, that's MY opinion, and we all know, ANY opinions other than those dictated by the left are unworthy and have no merit.

Some nosedive you got there, Carey.

"Obama is viewed favorably by 56% of the nation’s voters, McCain by 55%(see trends). Obama is viewed favorably by 82% of Democrats while McCain earns positive reviews from 87% of Republicans. Overall, voters continue to hold stronger opinions about Obama rather than McCain. Thirty-three percent (33%) have a Very Favorable opinion of Obama and 28% have a Very Unfavorable view. For McCain, those numbers are 20% Very Favorable and 20% Very Unfavorable.

Rasmussen Markets data currently gives Obama a 58.2 % chance of winning the White House." --- Rasmussen Reports

Yes indeed, it appears we have 3 specific disgruntled bags of manure complaining about John McCain like a bunch of two year olds with dirty diapers...the stench coming from the trio is sickening and you know who you are.
It appears the Marxist Barack Obama is slipping in the polls. Not only is the messiah clearly upset it is obvious his mealy mouth followers are just as upset thus their rants.
My questions for the smelly trio is: Why don't one or all of you explain to this forum why you are socialists and what makes you think America will accept socialism without a war?

Attention you democRat Skidmark!!

As I recall, did you or did you not mention you are a member of moveon.org ? And, isn't moveon.org a key contributor to the Obama Campaign to screw America?

And isn't moveon.org the slugs who called General David Petraeus "General Betrayus" in a 10 page newspaper ad? Tell this forum the truth about Obama’s scumbag lowlife socialist contributors and that includes you.

Did candidate Obama denounce his key contributor’s stinking slanderous smear campaign against General David Petraeus or did he ignore it like he ignored the anti-American filth spewed by Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers, Louis Farrakhan, Father Phleger et al?

Perhaps you could list Obama's Military Service? I'll help you out with this one, it may be very difficult for you to admit you have nothing but poop between your ears...

Barack Hussein Obama's Military Service: "ZERO." Once again: "ZERO." And Once Again: "ZERO."

Please explain to this forum how the ZERO Military experience candidate Barack Obama could vote against the mission in Iraq and vote against the surge and now he wants to command the mission in Iraq...Explain it.

And after you're done explaining the above explain fully what makes Obama qualified to be president...And, spare the copy and paste platitudes and trinket promises.

This election should focus on content of character. And at this point in time Obama's content of character amounts to what his elite euro-socialist contributors desire.
It all started going downhill for Obama when he could not stand up as a man and remove himself and his family from the presence of his preacher and mentor Rev. Jeremiah Wright, a man who habitually butt-spewed anti-American racist filth over his entire church congregation.
Obama had 20 years to stand up and leave such a demented environment but only when Rev. Wright became a liability for Obama's bid for president did Barack Obama separate himself...That's 20 years too late, that's self-serving and that's not a man fit to be president.
President GW Bush stood as a man and confronted alcohol that was destroying him and his family. John McCain stood as a man and confronted war and captivity. Obama never stood for anything and that's why he’s content to lay The United States Of America at the feet of his euro-socialist contributors and their idelogy.
Once again Barack Obama’s demons are holding him down, he does not possess the integrity to fight back; integrity comes from the one’s soul not from Harvard, Barry.
The United States of America fought wars even on its own soil to defeat the demented racist anti-American sentiments of those along the lines of Rev. Wright, Louis Farrakhan, Bill Ayers and Father Phleger. If left up to people like Obama who could not and would not stand there would be no United States Of America.
Electing someone president who could not and would not politely stand up as a man and confront Rev. Jeremiah Wright simply by removing himself and his family from such obvious filth is as silly as it sounds.
Allowing a community organizer and junior senator with no military experience whatsoever and who voted against the mission the in Iraq and later voted against the surge to be placed in charge of The United States Military in Iraq and Afghanistan is also as silly as it sounds.
