After Voting For Education Cuts, McCain Touts Education Reform At NAACP

Today, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), in a speech focusing on education, addressed the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and suggested that he had the “clarity of purpose” to address education issues in the African American community.

The McCains' have an adopted child with dark skin from Cambodia...The above poop is another dirty diaper democRat wisper rumor about a illegitimate kid.
The simple fact about McCain in 2000 is as it is today, he is not a Conservative and that is why he does not have any major support or enthusiasm, it doesn’t need to go further than that fact back then or now.
In the current election McCain is the much, much, much lesser evil of the two candidates, that’s McCain’s redeeming factor. Nobody in the Bush Campaign of 2000 had to concoct rumors about McCain like dirty diaper democRats who play by those rules as evidence in this election...Even if McCain had such a kid there would no reason to politicize it...unless you're one of many lowlife democRats with a bone to pick with Bush or Rove.
BTW Buzz, Colin Powell wouldn't pee down your throat if your guts were on fire.

The above jackass must think John McCain voted to end all education. Some bills have a lot of pork attached and are brought to a vote just for the very reason to use it as a smear later on. If the above wimp wants to do something about education perhaps he can start a campaign to end the money hungry NEA.

Many people claim that black citizens are racist for supporting Obama, but the truth is that McCain is the one with the problem.

1996, McCain Advised Dole To Skip The NAACP Convention Due To A Likely “Unenthusiastic Reception.”

Phoenix NAACP Head: McCain Has “Zero Relationship With The African-American Community.”

McCain Criticized The NAACP For “Brutal” Attacks On President Bush.

McCain Voted Against Creating Martin Luther King Holiday.

McCain Consistently Voted Against The Civil Rights Act Of 1990.

McCain Voted Against Expanding Unemployment Benefits in Wake of Katrina.

McCain Voted Against Granting Katrina Victims Access to Medicaid.

McCain Voted Against a Commission to Examine Government Response to Katrina.

McCain Again Voted Against Katrina Commission in 2006.

McCain Voted Against Investigating Waste, Fraud, and Abuse. In 2005 and 2006, McCain voted against an amendment that would establish a committee to investigate waste, fraud and abuse in the awarding contracts in Iraq and Afghanistan, and for the reconstruction after hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

http://progressiveaccountability.org/2259/09/...

How many of the people posting hate about Obama on this board support McCain because of his racist voting record?

How many people can give a reason for supporting McCain besides some crazy racist rumor?

I haven't found one yet.

agreed, the problem with education in this country has nothing to do with funding and everything to do with the mass of non english speaking students, the parents who care not one wit about their children getting an education and the lack of discipline. we already spend so much it's obscene.

I have watched the GOP fight to limit and eliminate funding for education in this country for thirty years. Obama has talked about education in this country a bit. He favors charter schools to provide competition to public schools, but states that the great commitment must be to public schools.I am looking forward to his big education speech.

McCain is computer illiterate, graduated sixth from the bottom in a class of almost 900, and has no interest in the world. I don't think he's qualified for the job, educationally, intellectually, or cognitively.

Why would the GOP pick two failing students who subconsciously feel inferior to their illustrious fathers twice in a row? Think they've figured out how to manipulate that type of loser?

Speaking of the economy:

US wholesale inflation jumps 1.8 pct in June
"...On a 12-month basis, PPI soared 9.2 percent in June, the largest increase since June 1981..."

But don't worry, the corporations will be fine. Their profits will come out of your paycheck.

"...Not only has globalization intensified price competition, but also, the US labor market continues to unwind allowing only modest gains in labor compensation that keep labor costs in check."...

And your cost of living soared:

"...The Labor Department said energy prices leapt 6.0 percent in June following a 4.9 percent gain in the previous month. The gain was led by a 6.6 percent jump in residential natural gas prices after a 3.8 percent rise in May.

By contrast, unleaded regular gasoline prices cooled to a 9.0 percent rise following a 9.6 percent increase in the previous month.

Food prices climbed 1.5 percent in June following a 0.8 percent rise in May. Prices of fresh and dry vegetables advanced 14.7 percent after declining 9.0 percent in the preceding month...."

Even REPUBLICANS don't like McCain:

An "embarrassment to the party." - Arizona GOP State Senator Susan Johnson

"The thought of his being president sends a cold chill down my spine. He is erratic.- Senator Thad Cochran, R-MS

"I decided I didn't want this guy anywhere near a trigger." - Senator Pete Domenici, R-NM

"If either [John McCain or Mike Huckabee] gets the nomination, it's going to destroy the Republican Party, it's going to change it forever, be the end of it." - Conservative talk show host and author Rush Limbaugh

"There's nothing redeeming about John McCain...he's a hypocrite." - Former House GOP Whip Tom DeLay

"He is a vicious person. They so disliked him that they wouldn't support him.- Former Representative Charles LeBoutillier, R-NY

"His temper would place this country at risk in international affairs, and the world perhaps in danger. In my mind, that should disqualify him." - Former Senator Bob Smith, R-NH

"I don't like him at all." Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-CO

"It just seems like everything we did, John was someplace else...In my mind, he is not a conservative."- Former House Speaker Dennis Hastert, R-IL

"What happens if he gets angry in crisis in the presidency? It's the president's job to negotiate and stay calm. I just don't see that he has that quality." - Former Arizona GOP Chairman John Hinz

"Hardheaded is one way to say it. Arrogant is another way to say it. Hubristic is another way to say it. Too proud for his own good is another way to say it. It's a quality about him that disturbs me." Larry Wilkerson, former chief aide to Colin Powell

"He is the anti-conservative. He instinctively sides against conservatives and relishes poking them in the eye." - Conservative talk show host David Limbaugh

"John McCain is Bob Dole minus the charm, conservatism, and youth. Unlike McCain, Dole didn't lie all the time while claiming to engage in ‘straight talk.'" - Ann Coulter

One really has to be a freaking mean ogre to draw that kind of invective from hatemongers.

Ah come on, you can't blame McCain for this, he is just taking the party line of wanting to destory the dept. of education for years. I mean have you seen some of the GOP state party manifestos? I think Texas says that they want to see the abolishment of the dept of education.

McCain is just being a Republican, nothing new to report on this.

Obama: "White man's greed." You: "Greedy Old Pigs." Yepper, it's obvious where your head is.
There is a sinister motive behind Obama and you and it’s an ideology called euro-socialism.
A candidate for president who has an issue with symbols of his country is a joke. Obama's unpatriotic despicable explanation for not wearing a flag pin in an era following 9/11 and while a war on terror is being fought by others (not you or him) is simply disgusting...If your head wasn't stuck in his ignorant self-serving behind you'd know that.
Now the Obamanation has flip-flopped and wraps himself in American Flags and sports flag pins everywhere he goes...wha happened?
Yes, Christ in Christmas and Christ in Christmas Tree was/is under assault by those who reside in the democRat Party. Evidence of that is as clear as the nose on your face...That's why retailers and advertisers got the message after sales plummeted and Christmas was restored...The bad news? The same pack of rats are still out there trying to come up with other ways to end traditional Americanism...it's an Obamanation.
BTW, Typo *Correction just for you: Attention miss-goodie-two-shoes...You are far, far, far worse than what *you claim to disdain.

Trust me when I say that I am in no way coming to the rescue for McCain. I can't stand the idiot, but this was said but not proven during Bush's run for the White House, when the puppet master Karl Rove was pulling George's strings.
Apparently now that he's pulling McCain's (he's his close personal confidant, but he's not on his campagin team and speaks to him daily- Karl Rove said on George Stephan...show.)strings, it would be o.k. if it were true. McCain sold his soul to the highest bidder because his little man complex makes it a must to win the White House so he can say "I told you so". Like Bush, he can't admit his shortcomings or defeat.
