Thanks to the activist Supreme Court GOP "Justices" we now have a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. The GOP can now prevent poor, elderly, disabled and homeless Americans from voting by making these IDs expensive and hard to get in states they control. Without a shred of basis in law or fact, the GOP appointed "Justices" gave the GOP one of its treasured goals in the fight to destroy democracy.

I will give Roberts, Alito, Thomas and Kennedy one thing: like all good GOP politicians, they stayed bought.

McCain has promised more like them. He has promised to overturn Roe vs. Wade.

Those elected representatives are actually trying to alleviate a problem ! Why dont you help? I noticed you didnt set out a better plan. Its easy to sit around whining , complaining and spouting the liberal party line vice actually doing something like maybe throwing an alternative idea on the table. I guess you simply believe the 14 million ILLEGALS aliens in this country should be allowed to vote? How about convicted felons ?

SO a couple people have lost a birth certificates , big deal ! It'll get worked out in short order but they WILL NOT report that !!! I can't wait to see the rolls of "tens of thousands " of disenfranchised by this common sense measure . It'll be more like a couple hundred who will eventually have to get off their rears and find their birth certificates.........like I did ! Now , I fully anticipate the typical, meritless, liberal response where you squeeze in the terms " racist and hater " however, I'll will be pleasantly surprised at a thoughtful response expounding the virtues or PERSONAL ACCOUNTABILITY !

Calling BS on McCain overturning Roe v Wade " the right to murder". Cite your source . Besides he does not have the authority to overturn Roe V Wade , no President does, so spare that nonsense for weak minded people . Liberalism = destruction of our nation !

Even the GOP Supreme Court "Justices" admitted in their ruling that there was no evidence that a problem exists.

I guess you conservatives would know all about sitting around whining and complaining about imaginary problems. That's why the country is in such a mess and the GOP is losing elections left and right. The only way the GOP can win is to suppress the vote.

MI and FL broke the rules and held their primaries early. How about you try to keep up with current affairs? That news is at least 4 months old.

Exactly. These people have plenty of I.D.s.

Quote;
why is showing an id to vote a problem?

They probably can't remember which I.D. is legitimate out of the many fake and fraudulent I.D.s that they carry around with them.

BTW, you must have an I.D. in order to open a bank account.

Take some of your own advice then and quit talking about something that was already decided quite awhile ago. Your dumb quote "Thanks to the activist Supreme Court GOP "Justices" we now have a solution to a problem that doesn't exist."

The U.S. has, in fact, gone through great lengths in order to force several foreign countries to legitimize their voting process by way of voter identification.

Yes, voter identification meaning VOTER'S CARDS, not proofs of citizenship.

Frankly, the only this is going to do is keep the elderly, poor, etc. from voting. There isn't even a problem with 'too many people voting' at all, there is a problem with UNDER-VOTES in most states, where the number of people who were registered as voting is not the same as the number of votes that they find after the election in the voter's bags. A SMALLER amount, not a bigger one.

So how is anyone keeping these people from voting? Please enlighten us with your so called wisdom genius!

I agree with voter identification. I can't imagine anything more asinine than not checking a photo ID before someone is allowed to vote. Who could possibly be against checking a person's ID before they vote? Well, Democrats are opposed to it. Why? Because they say it disproportionately frightens blacks and the elderly and would keep them from voting. This is not only untrue but, also, incredibly insulting to blacks and the elderly. I guess blacks and old people don’t use checks or credit cards either because they are too scared someone will want to see some ID. What a load of c**p. The only real reason to oppose checking identification is that in some places Democrats rely on widespread voter fraud in order to be elected. There simply is no other reason to oppose mandatory photo identification before voting.
