Obama pulls ahead in superdelegate count

Barack Obama is getting the backing of two more superdelegates... one from Oregon and one from New Jersey.Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton claims her base of working - class white voters could help her defeat Republican John McCain in the fall race. But many believe she will see wins in Kentucky and West Virgina as a graceful way to exit the race.

ABC is reporting this as well. This is the beginning of the end of the Clinton Era.

I am so proud to be an American to be able to have the chance to wake up in the morning in a warm bed and hot running water. So many times people take these freedoms for granted.

So, let us not be blind to our differences - but let us also direct attention to our common interests and to the means by which those differences can be resolved. JFK

It's time for Hillary to join us.

Well I think if you can jump ship so easy you never were a Democrat by heart anyway.

To thine own self be true?

What a stupid headline. It makes it sound like Obama and Hillary were running neck an neck.

Obama has been leading the delegate count for quite a while.

Not the Superdelegate. She had a 60 S.D. lead at first. But those days are over and gone..........

My family and I decided a while back what we would do in the worst case scenario of Mrs.Clinton not getting the nomination.....We will be voting for McCain...there are nine Democratic voters in the immediate family who will be doing this!

I am curious what led to your descision? Barak and Hillary were real close on a majority of issues.

Ok, I hope I'm right in thinking that I'm not the only fat person in the world who gets shouted nasty things at in the street by complete strangers.

But my question is, why? I mean, what does my fatness do to you? I'm not shoving a Big Mac down your throat so why do you feel the need to be nasty?

I'm not saying people on here do it (aside from the person who commented on an earlier thread saying "Atleast you're not fat")

But for example, a few weeks ago I was out shopping with my slim, pretty friend and I was just looking for a drink when these random kids started singing the "Fatty Bum Bum" song at me. Ok, I know it may sound humorous, but it was so hurtful. All I could do was pretend like hell that I didn't hear them and I could tell my friend was thinking "I hope she didn't hear that"

Also, whenever I'm out with my friends, particularly the friend mentioned above, I see all the guys heads turn to look at them, and I'm just the fat friend who's trying too hard to be something I'm not

And now I'm sounding like a stupid cow talking about my own self-pity.

But back to the point, why do people do this?! It's not like I snigger about random people in the street for being short or tall or too thin or something.

Do people seriously not see that what they say affects others?

Why do they have to be a sore loser? I won't be voting for Democratic either if Barack is the nominee. I just don't believe that he has what it takes to run this whole entire country.

Has anybody noticed the near crazed adulation of the Obama worshipers. Rapt looks of love gleaming in their eyes. It is well; so familiar...Oh wait, I know. Charles Manson, Jim Jones, and several other cult leaders commanded this kind of blind following. What is wrong with these people?
Can't they read? Are they some of the No Child Left Behind kids, that in fact, did get left behind? This guy is bad news, he has too many ties to Africa, and most of that continent is in violent political turmoil. The old saying "Birds of a feather, flock together". We all know who he has been flocking with. The more I read, the more he scares me to death!

Now she has no math left to use. Obama has a Superdelegate lead.

Anyone hear about the Hispanic Superdelegate that is selling his vote for 20million. With the money going to encouraging Hispanics to vote?

Selling the vote, that should be illegal.

LOL...too many ties to Africa. LOL

Run and hide now....you'll be sh1tting bricks of fear in a few months. LOL

...too many ties to Africa. Like the continent is an entity that will unite and attack. Oh wait, you think they all work together since it's one Continent.

Obama goes to Kenya, and you think Sudan, Libya, and Ghana will all join forces. LOL

Try again.

You're probably also one who won't be signing up for duty in Iraq as you vote for Bush II. Enjoy your couch, hope you find some joy in liberating Al-Sadr and his ilk.
