Republican presidential candidate John McCain said on Thursday he believes the Iraq war can be won within four years, leaving a functioning democracy there and allowing most U.S. troops to come home.

Mr McCain following in the footsteps of Bush "Mission Accomplished" is stating that the US can win Iraq war within 4 years!! He also goes on to say that "If I am elected President.....the era of problem solving will begin"!!! It is laughable since Mr McCain is THE PROBLEM just like Mr Bush who is occupying the White House currently and who is counting the days when he can leave the mess to the new incoming President.

Who can believe this man who would 'LIKE' to be President?...He does not have an original thought..he parrots Bush/ Lieberman, and all his neocon friends who want war and only war.
Lieberman is only looking out for Israel..he flips as much as McCain..and the two come across as 'old geezers' holding hands and tripping over their silly rhetoric. Take a good look at Obama and Edwards from last night's speeches..young, vital, filled with hope and change...then take another good look at McCain and Lieberman. Whom would you want representing the American people?

We NEED change..not Candidates who's only change is their minds.

Actually I think what Mr McCain meant to say was that he wants to withdraw the US troops slowly over the period of four years UNLIKE the sudden unflattering EXIT that THE WORLD saw in Vietnam!

Is he the same McCain who said we would be in Iraq for a hundred years? Did he not also paraphrase the old Beach Boys' song to become "Bomb, Bomb, Bomb, Iran?"

Has his short term memory been affected? Is dementia setting in? Or, as Democratic strategist James Carville once derisively said, "The American people have the attention span of a chimpanzee." In other words, whatever McCain (or any other politician) said an hour ago will be swiftly and irrevocably forgotten by the majority of Americans. In this case, it looks like he's counting on it.

Again... Mighty peculiar and enlightening that McCain would be talking of helping the downtrodden in Dharfur and elsewhere, while Obama talks of clean needles and decriminalizing drugs.

Its the Democrtic controlled Congress that has done nothing to prevent or solve this mess we are in. What happend to the first 100 hours??????????Bush is not the King this goverment has three branches. What has the other two done to control the rising gas and food problems??? Lets put the blame on who it belongs to. This country has went to left wing liberal spin and its out of control.Bush has always took the blame for his actions. Atleast he has done something and tryed instead of pointing fingers and doing nothing.

Mr McCain is himself a non-descript individual and to think that he is running for President of the United States at 70plus - he must be forgetting what he says in the morning! He might even come up with a statement such as "The US will establish democracy and an American way of life in the State of Iraq" wishful thinking indeed!!

The only thing that is "out of control" in the US is ..........fill in the blank)! And right now the US is dimly viewed by most countries around the world on account of the mess in Iraq and Afganistan!

Only Iraqis can WIN what is best for their country. Great Britain once ruled Iraq (after the World War). The Brits then installed a leader for Iraq. That guy got overthrown and eventually Saddam took control. The very same thing can happen after the U.S. occupation of Iraq. We can fix it to be the way we want it to be, but it is ultimately up to the Iraqi people to do what is best for the country.(what does it mean to WIN the war?)

...and we'll do it with the same troops on thier 8th tour of Iraq. And we won't have to raise taxes to support the military efforts cause we can borrow that from China instead, using the Bush/Rumsfield Cake-Walk Strategy!

So rejoice, members of the 82nd Republican LivingRoomCouch Bridgade, 1st Internet Division. You have to do nothing more than place a fresh bumper sticker on the car. And demand everyone where's a flag pin.

Isn't war fun.

Oh yeah, please ignore the previous "Mission Accomplished" statement.

We all know that if the goal was to reach the moon, President Bush would yell "Mission Accomplished" on takeoff because its thought that doing so would help his polling numbers at the time.

It's been 2432 days since Bush said he'd catch Osama bin Laden 'Dead or Alive!'

Add McCain's 4 years to that and we still would not have brought the man who lead the 9/11 attacks on America to justice.

But hey, Al-Sadr and his U.S. Troop killing Militia is liberated from Saddam! And anyone who doesn't like that is a traitor and a "muslim lover" right Bushbots?

Bush logic is an oxymoron. And those that support it are just "morons".

You sir are blind if you buy into the Bin Laden, story.

Research the Truth at www.infowars.com , Bush's Grandfather supported Hitler during WWII, and the Bin Ladens are bussiness partners with the Bushs. Also, in case you did not realize this they flew the Bin Ladin family out of the country three days after the 9/11 attacks. Osama Beenforgotten is a patsy that works for the CIA, he will not be caught. Wake up, and smell the facism.
