The USA Today/Gallup survey clearly explains why Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) is losing. Asked whether the candidates were “honest and trustworthy,” Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) won with 67 percent, with Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) right behind him at 63. Hillary scored only 44 percent, the lowest rating for any candidate for any attribute in the poll.

Hillary simply cannot tell the truth. Here’s her scorecard:

Admitted Lies

•Chelsea was jogging around the Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001. (She was in bed watching it on TV.)

• Hillary was named after Sir Edmund Hillary. (She admitted she was wrong. He climbed Mt. Everest five years after her birth.)

•She was under sniper fire in Bosnia. (A girl presented her with flowers at the foot of the ramp.)

• She learned in The Wall Street Journal how to make a killing in the futures market. (It didn’t cover the market back then.)

She has never done anything to help our country only her own selfish gain her and the former president started with how they have helped AMERICA do what? He could not even remain faithful to her himself! So Please before I would vote for Hillary I would not vote periord!

It is worth mentioning that most Blacks and Whites born into middle or upper class neighborhoods get along with each other quite well in friendly fashion, with their kids going to school together and learning to get along with each other.

Conversely, Blacks and Whites born into ghetto and red/neck type neighborhoods where turf defense and racial animosity are the norm and racial hostility is a birthright, are probably a large factor in the racist posts we see on these threads.

The racism is dissappointing, but it is to be expected from low born types, and we need to realize they are a small minority that temporarily festers like a boil on American society. One day, they and their ignorant ideas will be gone.

I couldn't agree more with many of you. Hillary has only shown herself as an apologist for her husband's infidelity and even went after women who accused him. Some role model for feminists. She's only shown women in mentally and physically abusive relationships that you should stay with the dirt ball. I think we know that her relationship with Bill is only for political reasons. That's just the start...

Obama will be a nightmare in the White House. He'll definitely change things alright! He'll raise taxes, create disincentives for acheiving, make you pay for healthcare, give amnesty to illegal aliens (nevermind those that have tried for years to legally become citizens), pull out of Iraq...now I know many aren't for the war, but if we pull out now, it will become a terrorist haven and break in to civil war. You think world opinion of us is bad now (who cares, but..)?

Let's take a second to look at the church he has attended for 20 years, had his kids baptized in, and got married in. First he said he never heard Jerimiah Wright spew the hateful words and then he gives the speech where he said he did hear it and didn't agree. This is just me, but if I went to a church and heard some of the hateful speech, like I did at a local Catholic church, I leave and find another Priest. He stayed probably because he believes some of the reteric. Just listen to his wife's quote after the Iowa caucus...something along the lines of: "This is the first time that I've been proud of America."

Let's talk about his lying about conversations with Canadian officials about NAFTA. Or his $1.5M home that he got for $300K from a friend that is being indicted. He's the typical and usual politician. He's no different. I don't want that kind of CHANGE!

Whoppers She Won't Confess To:

• She didn't know about the FALN pardons.
• She didn't know that her brothers were being paid to get pardons that Clinton granted.
• Taking the White House gifts was a clerical error.
• She didn't know that her staff would fire the travel office staff after she told them to do so.
• She didn't know that the Peter Paul fundraiser in Hollywood in 2000 cost $700,000 more than she reported it had.
• She opposed NAFTA at the time.
• She was instrumental in the Irish peace process.
• She urged Bill to intervene in Rwanda.
• She played a role in the '90s economic recovery.
• The billing records showed up on their own.
• She thought Bill was innocent when the Monica scandal broke.
• She was always a Yankees fan.
• She had nothing to do with the New Square Hasidic pardons (after they voted for her 1,400-12 and she attended a meeting at the White House about the pardons).
• She negotiated for the release of refugees in Macedonia (who were released the day before she got there).

With a record like that, is it any wonder that we suspect her of being less than honest and straightforward?

Hillary's Prayer: Hillary Clinton's Religion and Politics

For 15 years, Hillary Clinton has been part of a secretive religious group that seeks to bring Jesus back to Capitol Hill. Is she triangulating—or living her faith?

It was an elegant example of the Clinton style, a rhetorical maneuver subtle, bold, and banal all at once. During a Democratic candidate forum in June, hosted by the liberal evangelical group Sojourners, Hillary Clinton fielded a softball query about Bill's infidelity: How had her faith gotten her through the Lewinsky scandal?

After a glancing shot at Republican "pharisees," Clinton explained that, of course, her "very serious" grounding in faith had helped her weather the affair. But she had also relied on the "extended faith family" that came to her aid, "people whom I knew who were literally praying for me in prayer chains, who were prayer warriors for me."

Such references to spiritual warfare—prayer as battle against Satan, evil, and sin—might seem like heavy evangelical rhetoric for the senator from New York, but they went over well with the Sojourners audience, as did her call to "inject faith into policy." It was language that recalled Clinton's Jesus moment a year earlier, when she'd summoned the Bible to decry a Republican anti-immigrant initiative that she said would "criminalize the good Samaritan...and even Jesus himself." Liberal Christians crowed ("Hillary Clinton Shows the Way Democrats Can Use the Bible," declared a blogger at TPMCafe) while conservative pundits cried foul, accusing Clinton of scoring points with a faith not really her own.

In fact, Clinton's God talk is more complicated—and more deeply rooted—than either fans or foes would have it, a revelation not just of her determination to out-Jesus the gop, but of the powerful religious strand in her own politics. Over the past year, we've interviewed dozens of Clinton's friends, mentors, and pastors about her faith, her politics, and how each shapes the other. And while media reports tend to characterize Clinton's subtle recalibration of tone and style as part of the Democrats' broader move to recapture the terrain of "moral values," those who know her say there's far more to it than that.

Through all of her years in Washington, Clinton has been an active participant in conservative Bible study and prayer circles that are part of a secretive Capitol Hill group known as the Fellowship. Her collaborations with right-wingers such as Senator Sam Brownback (R-Kan.) and former Senator Rick Santorum (R-Pa.) grow in part from that connection. "A lot of evangelicals would see that as just cynical exploitation," says the Reverend Rob Schenck, a former leader of the militant anti-abortion group Operation Rescue who now ministers to decision makers in Washington. "I don't....there is a real good that is infected in people when they are around Jesus talk, and open Bibles, and prayer."

Clinton's faith is grounded in the Methodist beliefs she grew up with in Park Ridge, Illinois, a conservative Chicago suburb where she was active in her church's altar guild, Sunday school, and youth group. It was there, in 1961, that she met the Reverend Don Jones, a 30-year-old youth pastor; Jones, a friend of Clinton's to this day, told us he knows "more about Hillary Clinton's faith than anybody outside her family."
