Pelosi shouldn't talk. She is not competent enough to do her job now. Thus the reason for having only an 11% approval rating. As sorry and incompetent as Harry Reid is, he is pulling a 14% approval rating.

Her approval rating is lower then George Bush's.

The Super Delagates need to do their job and vote for the person they feel is best qualified to lead this country, whether it's Clinton or Obama. Unfortunately, a lot of people cast their votes based on reasons other than qualifications. We shouldn't have a president simply because he's black or simply because she's a women. We should have someone who can do the job. Besides, sometimes the will of the people is plain stupid. Perfect example, the OJ Simpson verdict....need I say more.

I think it is because she didn't move to impeach Bush. I agree that it wouldn't have done the democrat party any good considering he is out of the WH soon. There would have been a backlash against the party.

her approval rating is 1/3 of bush's dismal numbers...
at her best, she is totally useless ... at her worst, she's a danger to the country.

Rules are rules. Anyone that is disheartened by the super-delegates can lobby for their removal, after the election.

Should neither candidate reach the required amount of delegates, it shall go to Denver and the Super-Delegates shall weigh in. They will decide who is most electable and support that candidate.

The popular vote and pledged delegate arguement hold no water where super-delegates are concerned. They were designed as a fail-safe and if they were intended to merely follow pledged delegates, why would they exist?

This gets decided in August and all the Osama sock puppets need only shut their mouths till then. There are rules in place, now honor them.

While this may not appear democratic, those are the rules of your Doomocratic party!

Riot, loot, and burn down Denver if you must. The whole nation can witness what animals exist within the Democratic ranks.

What does the Florida/Bush fiasco have to do with the super delagates? Try to stay focused. Our entire government system is based on checks & balances. The sole purpose of the super delagates is to avoid having an unqualified candidate on the ballot for president because "the people" like his race or her gender, or for some other superficial reason. As I said before, if they do their job we'll have the better qualified candidate on the ballot and not just a popular idiot.

In addendum to my previous response, please read the universal definition of a super-delegate before showing the world how ignorance is prevalent. "THEY ARE FREE TO SUPPORT ANY CANDIDATE"! Anyone that has a problem with this, is obviously incapable of abiding by the set rules. Since most of the uproar is coming from the Osama bunker, I suspect "hope" and "change" simply stands for "hoping to change the rules".

"Superdelegate" is an informal term for some of the delegates to the Democratic National Convention, the presidential nominating convention of the United States Democratic Party.

Unlike most convention delegates, the superdelegates are not selected based on the party primaries and caucuses in each U.S. state, in which voters choose among candidates for the party's presidential nomination. Instead, most of the superdelegates are seated automatically, based solely on their status as current or former party leaders and elected officials ("PLEOs"). Others are chosen during the primary season. All the superdelegates are free to support any candidate for the nomination.

I don't honestly understand why Pelosi is getting involved in this. She seems so against Clinton it's not even funny. All of this hog wash has to stop because it is making the democrats look really bad and I fear that people will be turned off by it and vote republican in November. We CAN'T have another four years of a republican no matter what!

It seems that everyone was fixated on the "girl" and the "black" guy thing. They bought into the "novelty" concept and never cared what they were getting. Chris Rock and Britney Spears could have duped these dopes, in the same fashion. How hilarious! They were more worried about setting a precedent, now look what's running for president???

Nancy was waiting her turn until the 'machine' chose to go nuclear. Now, she needs to save the party. I hope it can be done before the convention.

Here’s the problem and the solution.
1. He’s thinks she is entitled to be president because she is the smartest person in the world.
2. Barack Obama has inspired a movement for him to president.
3. Nancy Pelosi, hasn’t been on TV effort lately and I’m sure she like being top female dog in D.C.

This equals one of the greatest primary elections we have ever seen, it’s just like a soap opera. Now we hear rumors that some in the party are asking that Al Gore step up and allow himself to be nominated to run for president at the convention. The next five months are going to be better entertainment than American Idol and Dancing with the Stars combined.

Operations Chaos!

Absolutely true. The super delegates were created in case the party didn't trust the judgement of the voters. How undemocratic can this party be?
