USC Bye Week: Players Focused on Getting Better, Despite Record Heat

In the midst of one of few off-weeks during the season, the Trojans went through multiple practices battling a new, but equally formidable adversary, and that monster can be named --Beat The Heat Wave in Los Angeles. Many players who were handling nagging injuries, like Leonard Williams , Randall Telfer , Damien Mama , were given a smaller workload during practice.

2015 USC Football Schedule Announced

We already knew that the Trojans would be hosting Arkansas State and Idaho and traveling to Notre Dame in the non-conference schedule, but now we know that the Trojans will host Washington and travel to Oregon. USC opens the season with four of five games at home, including what is sure to be another slobber-knocker when the Trojans face off with Stanford early in the season once again.

Farmer's career has been well documented with disappointment and injury but for a few seconds during USC's 37-31 loss to Boston College on Saturday, all the attention on him was completely positive.

Women's Basketball Leading Scorer Ariya Crook Dismissed From The Team

Less than two months away from the start of the season, USC women's basketball has been dealt the loss of would-be senior point guard Ariya Crook , who was dismissed from the program for a violation of team and university policy. The Pac-12 Tournament Most Outstanding Player , propelling the Women of Troy to an NCAA berth winning four games in the span of four days, will not be returning to USC's basketball program following a much-improved 22-13 campaign.
