I don't care how tough or soft he is. All I care about is having a winning program, and his approach isn't pushing us into the top 25 anytime soon. Dump him and let's move on.
1. Change coaching staff. 2. Start recruiting locally.

Real nice, he contibutes to one kid's death and is instrumental in phsyically damaging another and because he "forgot" to communicate well, a QB quits because he was fed up with his BS after getting pounded for no real reason - man, this guy has got a mental problem.

He's a pathetic coach. Look at his lifetime record. Its tepid at best. He lied to ND and got fired, so one has to wonder about his comments in relation to the tragic incident with Eric. Now UCF finds itself in the position of supporting Oleary in the face of a wrongful death lawsuit, since to do otherwise would admit guilt. With a losing record at UCF, the terrible media relations, and a wrongful death lawsuit, what would you do? All Tribble and Hitt are doing now is what all bureaucrats do...cover their axx, and they're real pros at doing that. He could be dumped without paying him a dime on his contract (or at least cutting a deal) based on the damage he has done to the reputation of the program. But don' hold your breath, its CYA time.

The Sentinel has never been a reliable source of unbiased information. The truth is news does not sell, which is why tabloids such as the Orlando/Sun Sentinel have resorted to drama and injecting personal view points into the articles. Its ridiculous how students are always taught to make references to sources but the Sentinel does not. Instead they use quotes that are out of context and unchallenged
What happened at UCF is a terrible tragedy, but giving Plancher's family privacy and dignity just wouldn't sell ad space on the website.

The article is lacking clarity on one particular point (and the haziness seems purposeful):
Is McNealy no longer playing football because:
a) O'Leary pushed him to leg press more weight?
or
b) McNealy has high blood pressure, a leaking heart valve and vasovagal syncope?
