Buckram shouldn't even be interviewed. He shouldn't have to explain on the team's behalf for sucking!! He's the reason UTEP won against Houston and Tulsa. He already has a 1000 yards rushing, what more can Buckram do? How much more can he keep sacrificing all of his blood and effort, just so the team can lose it all and he has to step up and defend the team by putting the blame on himself. This guy deserves more credit for everything he does. The whole team and the entire coaching staff should thank Buckram for everything he has given the team, thank him for being the sole reason for even winning 3 games. He should be exempt from all "losing" interviews. Buckram doesn't deserve any of this.

UTEP continues to regress. Better talent but nothing to show for it. UTEP continues to have assistant coaching changes each year, but with the same results - subpar season after subpar season. Time to make a change at the head coaching position. Miner fans deserve more!!!!

I agree with alot of the previous postings, however somewhere down the line, each team member (coach's included) have to take a look in the mirror and begin to take responsibility for his own actions.
Its truly a shame that our defense cannot hold there own, its truly a shame that this so called 3-3-5 is still being utilized. Its is a very porous defense. OSI, you need to abandon this defense, or take it to a high school where it is best suited, and give someone else the chance to improve our defense. Mike If you believe in Osi this much and want to stick by him then stick with him and "GO with him". Time to ONCE AGAIN CLEAN HOUSE on the defensive coaching staff.

It's that "SEVENTIES SHOW ALL OVER AGAIN" even El Paso's TOP High School Football teams could beat this bunch of sorry excuses for a football team, in less than two years from now even the high schools will draw more fans to their football games than the Miners will, they are the rock bottom of all division 1 college teams in the nation.
UTEP has hit ROCK BOTTOM AGAIN, watch the basketball team is also next in line it's return to the 1970's all over again, time to hit the pool tables again thats less boring than watching these fools that dont know how to win anything.

oh I forgot they also suck, well El Paso you still have the Dallas Cowboys, the Arizona Cardinals and the Denver Broncos someone close to home still can win even if it's a few hundreds of miles away the victories are still mounting outside of El Paso.

This has got to be the worst UTEP team in recent history!
I do believe coach Price should just step down along with the entire inept coaching staff!
To say that this was a disappointing loss is putting it mildly!
This is just plain embarrassing and humiliating!
We witnessed a team without cajones and no desire to suck it up in the clutch!
UTEP should just dismantle the football program!

6-6 is still possible. A bowl is still possible. Winning half your games isn't great, but hey, it's better than a losing season and no shot at a bowl.

When The HEAD COACH doesn't have answers for what is occurring on the field then NO ONE ELSE WILL. Once again, is "tippy toe calls a QB KEEPER on the last drive in over time THE MINERS tie it up..Instead he takes a 21 yard loss to end the game. Each game, I get offended by the plays the offensive coordinator ( the coaches son) calls in CRUCIAL moments of the game. Doe's anyone on the coaching staff have an imagination?? Why do the miners constanly settle for field goals instead of going for 7 points?? Don't the coaches believe in their players?? On offense, the QB is supposed to be a leader not a LOSER that is concerned with passing yardage and touchdown passes instead of WINS. Where is the HEART, DRIVE AND WILL TO NOT BE BEATEN?? It ALL starts at the top and ROLLS DOWN HILL to ALL MEMBERS OF THE TEAM AND COACHING STAFF. We've eaten enough tripe from the current head coach for the last six years, and we'd like to have something else besides the bilge he's spewed!

Like I've been saying for years...and only a few of you have been enlightened. The rest will just have to suffer in ignorance! UTEP SUCKS!!!!

Keep Mike Price, but only if he'll fire the defensive coordinator, adopt a real defensive scheme, and start recruiting real athletes on defense. If your best players are on defense, you'll dominate...just look at the Baltimore Ravens team that won the Super Bowl several years ago. Or the 15 straight years the FSU Seminoles were in the top 5. Their success was built around defense and special teams.

Dear Mom,

Just wanted to let you know we are doing ok. It was a tough loss but Grandpa Price said we are going to be ok. And Uncle Lewis said we will do better next time. I feel so good we have their support, just feels like Pee Wee football all over again. No matter what happens they say we did our best. Having a great time over here lots of parties, lots of ladies, and I am passing with flying colors even though I dont attend every class all the time.
